First use, and stained horribly, however , I learned that chile will do that, and I washed it again using a different method. Since then, I have used them several times, and am very satisfied with them. Recommended! 5/5 AND they are gorgeous cookware that undoubtedly will be used for years to come.

I like the hammered texture look of these pans. I was leary of the gold handles, but they've grown on me. Working with stainless is a bit different from the non-stick and cast iron I'm used to working with. I expected the aluminum core to offer better heat distribution, but my electric range still causes uneven heating and hotspots that can be frustrating when trying to get good caramelization on food without burning. Barkeeper's Friend has been a boon while trying to get the little bit of stuff that remains stuck to the surface after deglazing.I find the sizes to be a little limiting, but then I tend to cook larger portions. If you're cooking for one or two normal sized people, this set should have you covered.

The set comes with pots in 3 sizes, pans in 3 sizes, and 4 lids along with a clearly-written instruction booklet. That last part is the key to enjoying the Homaz life Stainless Steel Pots and Pans Set. Read through the instructions before using these pots and pans. The instructions are short but important. The type is large and easy to read. The first instruction is to use medium or low heat, although you can use high heat for boiling liquids. I was a little concerned about this as I'm used to turning up the heat when cooking, but I soon found that with the Homaz life Stainless Steel Pots and Pans Set, that's not necessary.I washed the set before taking the 4.5-quart sauté pan for a test run on one of my favorite meals, tofu scramble. Following the instructions, I dried the pan before placing it on the gas burner. I did a quick pre-heat before adding a small amount of sunflower oil to the pan, also per the instructions. I then sauteed garlic, onions, and fresh basil on medium low. I added in cubed tofu and seasonings. The food browned with little sticking to the bottom of the pan. Then I added in all the remaining vegetables, simmering until done.The sauté pan was easy to use, heated evenly, and cooked the food well on low to medium (mostly on the lower end) temperatures. The lid has a small hole in it to allow a little steam to escape while still keeping in the heat to promote thorough cooking. The pan's handle remained cool throughout the cooking time (about 45 minutes). The lid handle got a little warm, but just barely noticeable.The pan and lid cleaned up nicely. I first used warm soapy water and rinsed the pan. I noticed there was some residue on the interior sides of the pan, so I used a nonabrasive/no scratch cleanser and a nonscratch sponge, which did the trick.There are many things to like about the Homaz life Stainless Steel Pots and Pans Set. They are heavy duty. They work with any heating source for cooking. You can put them in the oven. The instructions are not complicated and are designed to get the most use out of the cookware. If you follow the instructions, these pots and pans are easy to use and perform well. With the hammered steel around the outside of the pans and the gold handles on the pans, pots, and lids, the cookware set is eye-catching. I wouldn't typically choose these design features, but they are interesting and unique.I have two dislikes, although they're not of such a magnitude that I would lower the rating. First, there are 4 lids for 6 items because 2 of the lids fit on both a pot and a pan. I would prefer to have separate lids for every piece of the set even if 2 are duplicates in case I needed to use both the pot and pan that have the same lid at the same time. Second, the 8-quart stock pot is 2 to 4 quarts smaller than what I typically use for pasta, soups, and the like. However, the 4.5-quart sauté pan is generously sized.Overall, the Homaz life Stainless Steel Pots and Pans Set is a stylish and practical cookware set that would be a useful addition to any kitchen.

This set of 10-piece cookware is strikingly beautiful, functional and solid. The pieces were heavier than I expected, though not too heavy.Every pan or pot can be covered with one of the four included glass lids. They clean up quickly. No, they're not nonstick, they are pure stainless steel. I prefer cooking with stainless vs a nonstick coating.What I like…- Heavy duty construction. Riveted handles. (See pic)- Induction ready, I have a gas range and induction cooktops.- Even heat distribution.- Beautiful hammered stainless steel finish with gold color handles- Rounded transition from side to bottom without any visible seam or layers visible to trap residue. (See pic)- Etched volume measurement labels inside.- Can go into the oven up to 550F for finishing cooking as needed- Dishwasher safe, though for best results it's not recommended.I didn't observe any shortcomings.The box included the six pots/pans and four glass lids with a use and care guide. (See pics)I just elevated my cooking to the next level and these look beautiful in my kitchen.These pans would make a fine gift for a housewarming or for any serious cook.
