This castor oil is excellent. Purchased in spite of the fact that it did not include a dropper as some other oils do, I solved that problem by buying smaller brown glass dropper bottles. I detect no odor, and it is pleasant to use. It is not thin as other oils but very rich and goes on face, eyelashes and eyebrows smoothly. Very pleased with this wonderful oil!

I am really happy with this purchase, it’s a large dark colored glass bottle which means that sunlight will not deteriorate the oil quality over time. I’ve been putting it on my hair as a treatment once a week - mixed 50/50 with coconut oil (in the photo, the coconut oil is the solid white chunk and the castor oil is basically clear and very thick and viscous - I mix it up really well with my hands and the coconut oil melts into the castor oil) before massaging it into my scalp and coating my ends with it, then combing it through. I put a shower cap on and let it sit for 60 min and then I rinse it out in the shower and shampoo twice. I also just started putting castor oil on my skin, hoping to minimize wrinkles and fine lines. I’ll wash it off in an hour or two. The quality of this oil is great, it’s cold pressed and packaged perfectly. I’ll update my review with results in a month or two.

I purchased this because I was seeking a good quality oil in an amber glass bottle. My local health food store only had it in clear plastic. This product comes ready. I store mine on a shelf out of sunlight but the trim is still bright thus the amber glass this comes in is better. You get a good sized bottle. I started using this on my thick hair and I get dry skin. Made it moisturized and soft. I really bought this because of the Edgar Cayce book I read where when it’s warmed on a wool cloth is great as a warm back for inflammation. Perfect for my lower back and knees. This is an excellent quality oil. It works for me.
