PSCPets IntelliFlora Nutritional Supplement, 300gm

I cannot say enough good things about Intelliflora. It's an amazing wonder probiotic that I use on my kitties and doggies to keep them regular. Last summer (2012) my kitties all developed chronic diarrhea. I did EVERYTHING that I could possibly think of to help them get over it. After many vet visits, bad diagnosis, and a few meds that didn't work, I was beside myself. Two of my kitties were so afflicted that their little tushies were red and inflamed (so would you if you'd been suffering diarrhea for several months!) They couldn't sit down, they couldn't move without leaking it, they were miserable and so was I. As a last ditch resort, and after trying a few other name brand probiotics for cats and dogs, I came across this little known gem. I saw that it had more cultures in it than the regular stuff and thought it certainly couldn't help to give it a go. After one day of this I saw a marked difference in their stool. After 3 days I had different kitties and after a week it was as if there'd never been any diarrhea! I'm a true convert and will never use another probiotic again. Ever! If you try this you'll never go back to anything else!

I've been using this with my Shi'h Tzu for 1 1/2 years. He has a very sensitive stomach & this gas reduced his issued about 95%. Pretty great and the price blows away Fortiflora, which is no better. Also, spoon is much more convenient than the Fortiflora packets. All in all, an excellent choice

Our border collie got a really bad clostridium infection when we were traveling cross-country with her. The vet in the town where we stopped did a great job helping her get over it, and he told us that it could come back if we weren't careful. He said to give her a probiotic every day. For quite a while we bought it from vets, but it was super expensive. Then we found out about this product. It's every bit as effective at keeping her healthy for a fraction of the price! We just sprinkle it on her food every day, and she eats it right up. I've recommended it to several friends whose dogs were having stomach/digestion issues, and it's helped every one of them. I highly recommend it.

I would not have purchased this product if the description had included the information that this contains SUCROSE!When I contacted the manufacturer, they said that added sugar is necessary to activate the microorganisms in IntelliFlora. Well, everything mammals eat is converted into a form of sugar to be used by the body and since the instructions say to sprinkle it on your pet's food, there's no reason to add sugar to the product.Cats and dogs can get the same high-sugar related diseases as humans, including diabetes, so why feed them sugar they don't need?From now on I'll stick with FortiFlora, which has a much healther blend, and NO sugar. Yes, it's a bit more expensive, but the health of my pets is important.

We give this to all of our GSD's. Our IBS dog started our journey with Probiotics and we initially used ProPlan's Fortiflora but the price kept going up. We switched to this brand so we could afford to give it to all the dogs for the long term. I assume it works...our IBS dog has about 1 flareup every 6 months when he's on this, Tylan powder, and Optagest.

What a great value compared to buying the same stuff through our veterinarian. Our Yorkies get their s with their food every morning and it keeps them healthy.

Great way to buy this product. Instead of tearing open and throwing away a new packet every day, you just measure a scoop over the food and you're done. Pricing is also much better with this volume.

animals like people need to keep the good flora in their intestines in tact, especially after taking antibiotics of any type. This product does the trick and the animals like it.
