This vinyl is amazing and great quality permanent vinyl. It is not for beginners though. Out of the box, it is hard to tell what the true surface side is, but once you know it cuts great on the cricut, it weeds really easily but then here is the hard part, the clear plastic backing (normally is paper) doesn’t release the vinyl. It’s extremely hard to get off the plastic clear backing. After slow and patient manipulation I am able to get it off but I am no beginner. Once off you have to have a different paper backing if you want to ship it to a customer cause they will not be able to remove the backing themselves. Thankfully my transfer tape comes with a backing I am able to use. The permanent vinyl adheres well, nice and strong. Perfect for cars, mailboxes, outdoor full sun or rain weather. Can be used in drinkware and more! Not safe for doors, walls or other surfaces you may want to remove it from.

The media could not be loaded.  First thing I LOVED about this pack was the packaging. I know, I know, that's sort of weird BUT in this case it's worth mentioning. The sheets are sealed inside some shrinkwrap and are then placed inside of this wonderful acetate sleeve. Not only does this pack come with storage for itself but I'll be using this generously sized sleeve to store vinyl and paper for awhile to come!I really enjoyed the selection of colors & finishes in this pack and I was also really pleased to get their sheet with recommended settings. I don't always find sheets like this to be totally accurate, but it's a great starting point for sure.The only other really notable thing about this pack is that the vinyl sheets aren't backed onto release paper (that coated, shiny paper that all stickers tend to come on) as most adhesive vinyl sheets are. Instead, they're backed onto a clear plastic acetate sheet. I admit I was really curious about how this would work compared to the paper.In the end, I think I prefer sheets backed onto paper instead of plastic. The paper is easier to manipulate and bend, which makes for easier weeding and getting the finished decals onto transfer sheets. I also really prefer paper because you can recycle it. Vinyl crafting isn't the most earth-friendly hobby to begin with, so when I do it I at least like to generate as little waste as possible. Where I live (NJ) we don't recycle plastic films, and so the resulting leftover acetate goes straight in the trash. At least when I toss release paper in the trash (on the rare occasion it goes there instead of the recycling) I know it will eventually break down. Acetate will be here long after our civilization is dust and sentient octopi rule the earth, which is not my fave.

I’ve had my Cricut Maker 3 for about a year and a half and enjoy creating with it. I’ve used it to assist in making t-shirt, signs, cards, tags and a lot of other items as well.Sometimes I’ve had a little bit of trouble with getting materials to cut properly in the Cricut machine… but not these.The permanent vinyl sheets that come in this pack are quite varying in color and work GREAT in my Cricut machine. I REALLY like the variety of colors and finishes. You everything from glossy to matte finish as well as glitter. It’s a TERRIFIC package for any level of crafting… from beginner to pro.I was able to cut it and weed it with ease and it seems to work well on the products I’ve made.If you’re looking for good variety, I’d HIGHLY recommend taking another look at this pack!

This vinyl pack is amazing! There are a bunch of colors to choose from for so many different projects.they absolutely are permanent and stay in place with ease. They seem to weed pretty well for me.

The media could not be loaded.  I really have to say my favorite part about this vinyl is the packaging!! I know that sounds strange, but everyone that has a cutter knows the struggle when trying to get a sheet back into cellophane - and when it doesn’t you have vinyl all over. This set comes with a heavy duty plastic envelope that has a Velcro closure. So nice!!! Now the material itself is not the best - a little in the thin side and somewhat transparent. If your planning on layering you may see the underside through. But if you using single layer - the colors are super vibrant, great adhesive, cutting and weeding no issue. They have included a cut pressure suggestion which so far has been spot on in my maker 3. I absolutely recommend this set - great practice material, fun with the kids or just house projects.
