This wine glass comes well packaged in a cardboard tube. Upon opening you get a lovely wine glass of a reasonable size. The quality is very nice, though it is obviously glass and not crystal; this is maybe a good thing as it will be less likely to break if you look at it like some ultra thin crystal glasses I've had in the past.The writing is clear and legible and you can't feel it at all -I don't know how they get it on there! If you look at the glass from the top there is an interesting pattern that makes it look like the glass is made up of many small panels and not round - although it is. I like it and it will make a great gift for a friend.

Delighted with this which I was lucky enough to receive on the Vine programme. It is a large size wine glass, bearing a perfect inscription 'Fabulous'.The glass comes exquisitely presented in a tall, round presentation box with the glass beautifully wrapped inside - I have not unwrapped it yet and don't plan to use it for a few weeks. There is also a little blank card inside.If there is a downside that is only that the glass itself is not 'fine' but, when the recipient is downing a few on such a momentous birthday, that is hardly going to be an issue.This would make a perfect gift for someone's birthday, paired, of course, with a nice bottle of wine to pour into it.Of course, it is not the cheapest glass you would find but worth it for the occasion and the message.

So .... basically this is a lovely gift, glass is nice and big - you can get a good slug of wine in it - and its impressive as a gift or as the birthday person's wine glass placed on a birthday dinner table (which is what I am doing !) - and the gold lettering is well produced and looks classy, definitely not tacky. It comes well packaged in a very nice quality cardboard tube so it makes a very, very nice 50th birthday gift (probably more female orientated due to the colourings of the box) ... so I have absolutely no complaints about the glass or the packaging - both classy and a lovely memento of a milestone birthday - BUT it just feels that the price point is pretty high for this gift. If money isn't an issue then go for it and you won't be disappointed, but I just feel that its pricey for what it is. Hence dropping one star for that single reason.

This is a lovely birthday gift for someone turning 50 years old. The glass is large and very well made and the printing is very clear. The glass comes well protected in bubble wrap inside a really strong and pretty gift tube, which in itself comes in a further outer cardboard box.Add this to a good bottle of their favourite tipple and you’ve got a perfect gift.

This is a lovely gift to give and it comes nicely presented. The glass comes in a pastel ombre-effect pink and aqua box. The lid is a bit stiff to open but then once inside you can see the glass which is protected by foam. The glass itself looks great - it has fine writing on it which looks elegant and not too bold or over-the-top. You also get a little blank card inside it with a little poem on the front of it.The shape of the glass is great, nice and elegant. Overall it makes an ideal gift for a 40th birthday - nothing too soppy or over-the-top and very nicely presented.I'm very pleased with this.

Got this as a gift for my daughters up and coming 30th. The item came well packaged and wrapped fully protected in transit. On opening the box I was surprised at the high quality of the presentation box, it really is lovely and classy looking. The glass itself is well made with clear writing on it. We're really happy with this gift and we expect our daughter to be too.

This is a very nicely finished glass, with a textured effect that runs through the glass itself. It is nicely packaged and protected and the presentation box itself is good quality. The decorative gold lettering is quite sweet, just saying “Limited Edition” then the year of birth and “Fabulous. Aged to perfection”. It’s a nice subtle finish. I have taken a photo with white paper behind so the design is more easily seen.The glass itself has a decorative effect that runs from top to bottom of the glass in lines. Whilst it is not ridged and the glass is flat, it does offer a pleasing effect when the light is cast on it (see photos where hopefully this is visible).The glass itself is thin as is the stem. I am not sure that this glass will stay the test of time, though I think it’s a nice gift.
