Has some flex, looks nice, cork handle is comfortable, overall not bad for the money

This rod should get the "best rod for under 30 bucks award!" My initial thoughts were not so good because it' has a lot of " flex" in it....I bought the rod to fish worms, lizards and wacky worm for lmb/smb...I teamed it with my old Mitchell Avocet with 8 pound mono.. I didn't think it was gonna have the backbone I needed for hard hook sets because of all that flex I talked about....so, it got delivered around 6pm.... after unboxing and assembly, I was not impressed...So, I knew the only way to really find out was to try it out....WOW!!!! It ended being exactly what I was looking for because my first cast was about a 1 pound bass with the wacky worm...I set that hook as hard as I could and that rod didn't blink!!!!! I continued to catch bass all yesterday evening and I noticed I didn't have "heavy rod fatigue" ( I had been using an Ugly Stick that's more suited for live lining for bigger fish)....The And that's why I gave it 5 stars ( even tho I don't like that it doesn't have the little "hook holder" on it....Seriously tho, I'm pleasantly surprised it's a great rod, no matter the price...I highly recommend
