The Oeago hat with LED light is a great stocking stuffer idea! I live on a farm and this is going to be so useful as it gets darker earlier! It is a bit of a thin hat, but for cool evenings and probably with a gator as it gets colder this is going to to amazing for the price to have! The hat fit great and is very stretchy so should fit anyone. The light snaps in and out from under the folded up rim. To turn on the light all you do is touch the center button and it starts off at full brightness. The light has 3 settings and it starts from the brightest and goes down until it turns off with the fourth click. It was very easy to remove the light from the hat to charge it (and so you can wash the hat!). It is very bright on the brightest setting making this very very useful for work outside in the evening. It is very easy to charge, remove it, take off the top and plug it in where you would plug in a USB cord for charging. The charging port looks different and it took me a minute to realize that I could plug it in to the USB port. Mine fit well and I did not have any issue changing it.This is a great value and would be a great choice for a secret santa/stocking stuffer/gift exchange. This is a super value at the current price!

A family member happens to have one of these hats (different manufacturer) and said it can be helpful. I decided to order one for myself and try it out.This black hat is comfortable to wear. It is soft to the touch, elastic and stretches to almost any size head. The knitting is perfect, tight rows without any issues with stitching, the rows are aligned. Lets face it - the desire to order this item is the light. Struggling with the keys while outside your home, trying to put your dog on his leash at night can be easier with this hat.I tested the light at night in my home without any lights on. The brightest level worked very well - there was enough light to easily find my way around and pick up items from the floor. Each press on the button lowers the brightness accordingly. The battery takes 4 hours to fully charge.I’ve had other stocking hats made of acrylic. They look great but acrylic material has a tendency to age quickly, i.e.,, the material gets fuzzy after a short time being worn. Why not use a different material? The thikckness of the hat is thin despite it having two layers of material so I do not know how well it will keep me warm in the cold windy area where I live. This can only be answered when the cold comes in a few weeks. Otherwise, I like the hat and am looking forward to testing it in the winter. You can’t beat the price.

I like this hat. It's warm, but not too warm. I'm currently wearing it in my house as it's right at that time in the fall when I haven't turned the heat on... and it doesn't feel crazy warm. So it might not be enough for February in Wisconsin.The light is nice. It has three levels of brightness and the button is right in the middle of the light. Simple! The light is pretty broad - like a flood lamp instead of a spotlight. But that's appropriate because you can't really aim the light.It doesn't come with charging instructions, but you just pop out the light, pull off the little protective rubber tab and put it into a USB outlet. It lights up red when it's charging, so if you put it in backward, it doesn't light up.A great buy!

This is a nice beanie with a great headlamp built into it. It's comfortable to wear, fairly warm though definitely not a super cold weather hat. And the light is super bright. It's great as a task light if you're working outside at night. You can recharge it fairly easily with a usb port. For only $6 it's a great deal.

There is no instructions on how to charge this hat and no charger with it. I will be sending it back.
