Works great!
I was able to connect my meta quest 3 headset to my Switch! I used the new meta quest hdmi connect and cenmate capture card and it works just as expected. Very pleased! I did need one more hdmi cable but that was not a big deal.

1080p capture recording
WHAT’S INCLUDED:CENMATE Capture CardHDMI CableUSB-C Cable with USB-A AdapterInstructions & Warranty CardPRODUCT/THOUGHTS:I want to clarify something. This card CAN pass through 4K Resolution, HOWEVER, It does 1920x1080p for actual recording capture. I was doing all my testing in 1080p anyways so it was fine, but if you want to be able to actually capture in 4K, you’ll want to look at other devices.Your FPS using USB 3.0 will net you a max of 60FPS so make sure you use that function. The USB-C to USB-A adapter is directional specific if you use it, so make sure you check the instructions about that, so you get full USB 3.0 speeds or else it’ll default to 2.0The Included HDMI cable worked okay for me, but I was getting a LITTLE bit of noise on the video quality so I Switched over to my own cables and that cleared things up. I think they might have a slight issue with the quality of the included cable. That's okay, you should always use your own cables anyway unless it's a very expensive product, then you should assume the cables you get are high quality. It worked out just fine for 1080p capture.

Clean HDMI capture
My apologies I did not take a picture of this working, but so far out of all my HDMI capture cards this one did a few things REALLY right. Number one it has a pass through (forgot to try but next time it will save me from using a HDMI splitter (forgot it had one till I started writing this review) and it has a VERY nice long USB-C cable. Up until now all of my HDMI capture cards have been fixed with a USB-C cable or USB-A this ones is separate. But the others have been iffy with my setup .. Now this will sound weird but here I go. I use a Roland Aerocaster to capture seminars once a month for a senior group in the county I live in. And they always have a Powerpoint running. I do not like having to put a powerpoint in post really do not like it as it can take a while depending on the slides. And a live capture makes it really simple. And Aerocaster does have a way to show screens but the method I found works for me and required no real hoops. I take one of my iPad Pro's and run the camera app for the Aerocaster and using a USB-C hub I can use an HDMI capture card to bring in video. YES it works. (sadly it does not for FCP Pro iPad (yet keeping fingers crossed) and Cenmate has made one that I have not had to keep trying different USB-C hubs to get it to work. It worked the first time and did a great job. Im becoming a big fan of their offerings. This worked right out of the box and I would recommend it to anyone needing a capture card.

works great on N100 Beelinks and miniPCs
What a lifesaver when trying to piece together a presentation from different sources and to cut out you tube commercials that interrupt some references. Installation was very straightforward. Plug the usb-c cable into the capture card and the other to your PC, take the hdmi going to your monitor or tv and plug into the capture card. Take the supplied hdmi cable and use to patch the tv back in to display your desktop. No drivers were needed on windows 10 and microsoft games automatically configured the hot keys Win + alt + R to start and stop recording.

Didn't Work
The Aluminum HDMI Capture Card, USB 3.0 1080P 60FPS Audio Video Capture Card for Streaming/Gaming/Video Conference, 4K@30Hz Input & Pass-Through Capture Card for Nintendo Switch/PS5/Xbox/Camera/PC didn't work for me. I tried and tried and just couldn't make this work. Very disappointed.

Good performance, but inferior quality HDMI cable adds noise to recording!
I was not able to reliably capture video using a screen capture app because the sound and video would not sync every time, even with 1/2 frame and 25 fps capture. This hardware alternative provides all the power one needs to capture full resolution at 30 frames per sec. Though the audio andvideo were almost in sync, the playback showed that the piano keys lagged the sound of the notes being played.Running the OSB app on a Dell laptop running Windows 10 pro connected to the capture card via usb allowed me to set a 35 msec adjustment and the video was synced. However, the sound was accompanied by sporadic pops or frying type noise. The source audio was clear. After adding OSB noise filters to no avail, I finally switched to a different HDMI cable and the problem was gone! The default windows player did not sync perfectly but with VLC there were no problems while playing back the same recorded files. In this setup I used HDMI output from a chromebook while playing a video in the chrome browser. You need to set the chromebook display setup to duplicate or else OSB will only show you the home page frame. OSB detected the usb 3 capture card. You can use the preview window to verify that the video capture has the video and audio properly sync'ed. It will also make the pop noise if it is present. If you have noise problems make sure that the hdmi cable is not the culprit or you will spend needless time troubleshooting. The little guide mentions that the led on the side turns red when the usb connection is made and later to purple when the hdmi connection is made, but the light remains red.The card has additional features such as direct stream recording from a url or app and YUY2 advanced video recording format. Screen Images of apps on the user guide are unreadable.
