Not safe for plastics
I tested in an inconspicuous area.....NOT safe on plastics in my opinion. Made plastic sticky. Probably the propellant is what reacts with the plastic.

Be aware that it contains graphite, so it's as messy as any graphite-containing lubricant. I wish it was clearly stated stated in the description.

As good as or better than CRC, but cheaper for laser engraving applications
I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the CRC Dry Moly lubricant (a cheaper alternative to cermark) for laser engraving. This stuff was fantastic.I've also tried dry moly and dish soap, but that was a waste of time and money. This obviously isn't what the product is intended for, so I don't want to recommend using it for this purpose without being really safe with handling and fume extraction and stuff, but so far this has been the best bang for my buck. Two light coats (doesn't take each coat long to dry) then you're good to go. I've attached an image of my first try using a K40 at 99.9% power, 20mm/sec. I did leave the object in place and repeated job so burning twice might have helped too.If you're about to buy the slightly more expensive CRC stuff, or cermark for a piece that doesn't warrant the price (obviously cermark works best), pick up a can of this stuff instead... Worth every penny.
