Great game for the family

I grew up playing Rummikub with my siblings as a kid at my grandma's house so this travel version is a real blast from the past! The game is pretty straightforward to play. The first person to run out of tiles wins. You can lay down tiles in sets of 3 (same number/different colors) or in a run (1, 2, 3, etc.). You can also lay tiles down on sets other players have laid down on your turn. We never scored the game, we just went by whoever ran out first wins and the game is over. Unfortunately, the instructions that came with this game do not explain how to score either so we still play the simplified kids version rules.The tiles feel like smooth stone, but they are made of melamine. They are cool to the touch and feel solid. The holding trays are a thin, inexpensive plastic with rickety legs. They are the weak point of this game and I miss the wooden trays my grandma's set had. The travel case is nice and I love that everything fits inside a zippered case for easy transport. The tiles slip and slide on the trays and you need a playing surface so I don't recommend playing in the car, but this game is perfect to play at the beach or while camping. You can easily rinse the tiles off afterwards, if needed and wipe them off to replace in the case.This is a fun game to play and this set is a good one. I feel like this is a decent value, but you will need to look up the game instructions elsewhere as these are inadequate. I love that it came with a travel case instead of a cardboard box as it makes tile storage and transport so much easier. This game makes a great gift for families with kids or those looking for something fun and a little different to play in the evenings.

This is a great game very easy to use. I love that it comes with everything and a package so that way it can be traveled around with definitely worth the money. I would suggest that it can be used there and barbecues all parties definitely worth the money, and very sturdy and durable.

I received the KAILE Rummy Cube Game with 4 Anti-Skid Trays set for review. I will start with what I like. This set comes with a nice storage/travel case with a handle. We have had many Rummy Cube or Rummikub sets in my lifetime. The biggest issue with them in the past was lost tiles or broken feet for the tile stands. This zippered storage case may help with the lost tiles issue. The tiles in the set look pretty much like those in any other set I have owned.One thing that really bothers me about products sold on Amazon is incorrect product descriptions. Some of these errors may be the hasty posting of new products using translating software. In this case, the description clearly states that this set comes with “Anti-Skid Trays.” These trays are hard plastic just like any other set I have used. There is nothing about the trays or the legs that make them anti-skid. I just wanted to make sure that was clear to prospective buyers so they are not disappointed. Also, the instruction sheet is very simple and may not be a ton of help to new players. If you already know the rules that should be no big deal.On the surface, this is a good set if you already know the game. I am not sure that it is a great value at the listed price compared to some of the options from the original Rummikub maker. Shop around on Amazon and check out all the options. This set will work great for our family and I am sure we will get lots of use out of it.

This game is a family favorite, and I was happy to find a version for travel. Unlike some travel versions of games, this set is not miniaturized. It's the same, full-sized pieces and trays that are used in the boxed set you'd buy for home. The "travel" element is the zippered case. I didn't mind, as the full-size pieces are easier to keep track of, but be aware that it will take up the same amount of space to play as it does at home.The set has plastic trays with removable legs to hold the pieces. The pieces are made of a heavier material, more like dominoes. The paint on the indented numbers is bright, though the coverage is a bit sloppy. The set also includes a single six-sided die for some reason. There are some printed instructions, though I learned the game from other players a long time ago. If you are new to the game or find that the instructions are incomplete or difficult to follow, it's easy to find correct instructions online. All in all, I am happy with the set and I'm looking forward to taking it on my next family vacation.

Since I was familiar with regular card rummy I thought this cube game would be fun. It is. I did go online to find videos on how to play it--since usually seeing the general play is more helpful at first than reading the directions.Besides being a fun family game, it is also easy to pack up and take with you when visiting family and friends.

We gave this as a family game for Christmas. We have played it almost everyday since then! It has been a really fun game to learn and then play.I highly recommend this. The pieces are nice and easy to read, very durable. The tiered holder is easy to put together and makes playing the game so much better. The case that holds the game is really sturdy, easy to carry. Makes a great travel game.
