OAKWOOD Deluxe Complete Full Carp Fishing Set up With 2 x Rods Reels Alarms Tackle & Bait

First time used during storm Dennis in Feb 2020 and 3x double figure carp pulled in along with many smaller carp and bream. Shelter is very small and you need a very low chair to avoid your head hitting the top but if you sit sideways it’s ok. Keeps the wind off more than the rain, water leached through and dripped on me after a couple of hours. The drop back indicators on the alarms are useless but easy to replace with better ones. Rods are nice, reels excellent. Hair rigs are far too heavy a braid for anything to not be able to see, they didn’t catch anything. Tied my own with thinner braid and that worked. Alarms are as good as the expensive alternatives. Net is a little flimsy but worked ok. Rod pod is flimsy so just used the rod rest and alarms on bank sticks instead. All in all very good value for money and you can catch decent fish using the kit as the base of your set up.

i've used this set for three days now and i've caught some nice carp biggest was 16 pounds and everything worked as it should the only thing is the landing net pole just needs strengthaning with some black gaffe tape but 4 stars is about fight

Turned up alot quicker than amazon stated, however the picture doesn't totally match what turns up. The weights are different and I only received 3 instead of 4, the boilies are different to picture and pack seems alot smaller. I nice starter pack for myself just feel abit miss sold.

Bite alarms don’t turn on bought new batteries in case that’s the issue still don’t cheap cheap and don’t answer questions stuck with half the gear that’s not working

A very happy husband on Christmas morning not expecting any fishing kit but I will probably be ordering other accessories to build on the kit
