Relaxing and great for travel
If you need to pack a few for a trip, these are portable and comfortable. They heat up quickly and last for about 40-50 minutes. If you need them for relaxation, a stye, or to combat dry eyes, these are terrific. The material that wraps around your ears is nice and stretchy and should fit most people comfortably. A little pricey, but worth it for the convenience.

A great option for people with severe dry eye syndrome
I had LASIK surgery in 2005, and as I've gotten into my 40s, dryness had become a big problem for me. My optometrist advised that I use a heated compress every day to help keep my myobium glands (the oil glands at the base of the lashes that express a tiny amount of oil with every blink, which keeps the test later of your eyes from evaporating) working well. The problem I ran into with the mask is that, while it's weighted (send to be filled with some kind of coarse sand) and feels good when using it at first, getting the right temperature in the microwave can be tricky (to little Ave it isn't effective, too much and you can burn your eyelids) and the heat doesn't last the full 20 min I'm supposed to use it. Plus, at the end of a long day when I've relaxed before sleep, I don't want to have to get up, microwave the thing, and then come back to bed, just to have to get up in 20 min to put it away. (I tried using it during the day, but it messes with my vision for about 30 min to an hour after use, so that doesn't work for me)I can't across these masks when looking for alternatives, and they are AMAZING! I got the rose scented, and it barely smells, just a light, pleasant scent. The active ingredient starts to heat up as soon as you take it out of the package. I like to shift it around a bit to really get it mixed and activated, but it's not necessary. The ear loops are soft and flexible; pull them away from the mask to stretch them out before wearing. It's rather square, so it isn't light blocking, and you have to manipulate it to cover both eyes. I've been using this mask under the weighted one I was using, and it's perfect. It holds a gentle but intense heart for about an hour! Apply it, lay down and take a nice nap, and when you wake up, your eyes will feel better, and you can just dispose of the mask. I will definitely be purchasing other scents to try then out!

Heats up, comfortable to wear, but does not last long
Definitely warms up, but doesn't seem to last longer than 15 min or so. This is a decent product as these disposable eye heating masks go. None of them last long. Also,I would question the "steam" part. If anything, is evaporation of the moisture that your own skin produces or from your moisturizer. I wear them in the evening to bed, they seem to help fall asleep, usually stay on until morning, and also double as sleeping mask to block the light.

Smells good and stays warm!
I use it when my eyes are tired after a whole day of working on my computer and I do feel like the heat and moisture helps my eyes. It doesn't get too hot so it's safe to put on eyes without the risk of burning anything and I think the heat lasts ~1 ish hours. I sleep with it fine and it doesn't bother me.

Excellent for travel!
I use a Bruder mask but travel a lot and often don't have access to a microwave. I brought these on a 2 week European work trip and used them nightly. I was pleasantly surprised how warm they got and that the heat lasted at least 20 min (I constantly fall asleep with these on! Heat may last even longer.) Surprisingly comfortable too, the ear straps are soft and fit me just right. Other reviews said the straps break easily, that was not my experience, i was nit rough with them but I also have small/average size head and ears. I suppose if you have a larger head, these may not be for you. I tried 3 different brands and by far these were the best as far as high temperature, comfort and how long they last. Nice to keep in my nightstand when I don't feel like going downstairs to heat up my other mask too. I only ordered unscented, I'm not a fan of fragrance near my already dry, irritated eyes. I noticed no smell from these at all.Highly recommend!

This is rest for the eyes.
I don't know how others feel about a nice warm mask on their face, but for me, it's wonderful. Sends me off to sleep quickly. Further, I have frequently painful eyes due to severe dry eye which nothing has alleviated so far. Though these don't cure the problem, they quickly soothe my eyes as I drift off. I love these and have ordered them frequently.

Work, but low quality and some major issues, don't recommend
These were on sale. They were cheaper than the others out there, and this scent was even cheaper than the rest of this brand. Could Amazon and the manufacturer know the quality was so poor, they put them on sale to get rid of them? First, the good. They do heat and they last as long as they say they do. But, they are poorly made and many had defects. The ear band is slightly tighter than most brands I've tried. It's flimsy, as they all are, but these have little tears that you have to hold or when you stretch the band it will rip all the way through. The bands need to be separated from the mask, and they used so much glue that when trying to separate the band from the mask, some actually tore. If you're very careful you can remove the band from the mask with just a slight tear, if you're not, you'll make a hole in the mask. Some just wouldn't separate without leaving a tear or hole not matter how careful you were. To make it worse, those that were manufactured like this with the excessive glue, smell like glue. So when you finally get it separated and put it on, instead of smelling a scent or nothing, you're smelling glue. Not pleasant, not healthy. In addition, some of the masks had little granules of the heating compound infiltrate though and be right under the first layer of the mask, close to your skin, which of course shouldn't happen either. I have never experienced any of these things with any other mask. I have purchased this brand before w/o any problem, although the quality was not as good as other brands, and it was only if there was nothing else cheaper or close to the price. This purchase the lot is either defective or they've decided to make a lousy product because they'll still sell, at least until enough people quit buying them.
