Mighty Tug Hardcover – Picture Book, January 23, 2018

This is a favorite of my grand-daughter

My kiddo loves this book, he's 2, he calls it "Mama boat book" -- maybe because it's a female boat (shrug). It's a hit!

This girl boat is counted on to pull and push the other boats in the harbor. She loves her job and is counted on by many. A great book for showing both girls and boys that girls are important to have in the world and have a lot to offer. Fun words and illustrations, too.

I read this book for storytime at my library and it was a huge hit! I loved that the tug boat is female. Very few books featuring boats or trucks have a female main character.
