Makes any TV a media centre
This Android box is very useful for getting everything you need out of streaming. It has a very easy-to-use interface and is compatible with most of the commonly wanted streaming services such as Prime Video, Netflix, and Disney+. Additionally, with a bit of extra work, you can get it to run some game emulation software, allowing it to play Super Nintendo games. I did not like that they decided to stick some quite tacky artwork on the top, stating what the product is, which makes it very difficult to want to keep it in the open. It’s okay for placing in a cabinet where you cannot see the top, though. Maybe they should have just made it all black because, aside from that, it’s a really great device.

Everything I want for streaming TV. Plus other functionality you may use.
I have played with this for a day and a half and am pleased with it. I started by connecting it to a monitor with no Wifi to have a look at the software. Nothing on there to worry about but I did a factory reset anyway to see if anything changed. With the monitor it worked straight away. The instructions for the main unit and the remote are poor, most folk will be OK with it as it is not new Tech. The remote was disappointing, low quality and not particularly accurate. The software had some hiccups like "back" not working to get out of some menus, overall for a budget device it was standard.I then did the same with an old low spec windows laptop but could not get the laptop to recognise it.Then the main test onto a TV. Setup was fine as you expect nowadays. My two big TV streaming services are pre loaded and worked well, It has not lost connection at all. The picture and sound was a good as with my main box.So it works. The quality of the main unit is average/OK, it got warm but not hot and although it looks OK it is very small and easy to hide to just have the pretty screen showing. It does a lot of stuff and I have only scratched the surface, overall it is a good buy as long as it is competitive against the big brands.

Blew us away
Opens to a box with everything you need to plug in and turn any old tv into a smart tv.You have the hdmi, powe, the box itself, a remote with a rattle....there a dongle inside! Which once calibrated turns the remote into a 3d, vr like mouse. The box itself has every connection, more than most modern tv boxeshdmi? yupusb? TWO PORTS!ethernet? YES!sd card? OFCit just gets better with every turn of the case to see what options you have.It uses android 13 so newest os with a fast chip that didnt feel like it lagged or delayed in loading. If anything we got annoyed our high quality projector wasnt asgood. The product does get warm but not hot in use and ran for hours without problems, amazin videom, netflix external hard drive AND usb vids...it ran everything without a problem. The software is a breeze to setup and via optical for audio, theres no delay or lag

Decent box with an intuitive user interface
I wasn't looking for anything overly advanced, I just wanted something for my spare room to use for some of my streaming services. While not perfect, this is a very good machine. It comes with the two main streaming services pre-installed, along with a few other apps. However, you also have access to the Google Play store, so you can download pretty much anything you want to. The user interface is really intuitive to use, allowing you to add or remove apps from the home screen with ease. The remote can connect via a USB receiver that comes with it, and can be used like a mouse, moving the cursor around the screen simply by moving the remote. This is a nice touch, although if you move too fast I do find it skips a little bit. You can also speak into the remote for voice control, although I haven't found this particularly accurate. The picture quality is excellent, and the movement smooth. There is no noticeable lag while switching between menus, either. This is a good Android box that is very easy to use.

Didn't work
This item arrived quickly but unfortunately was already used . The cellophane around the item was broken where the ports were as though this item had been previously plugged im and the remote didn't work .

Basic Android TV box - No good for emulation
This is an entirely adequate Android TV box, following the H96 formula, hockey puck design, little display, all the ports you’d need, reset button hidden inside the audio jack.Unfortunately, this one is hobbled by the its Rockchip processor.I didn’t realise this until after the fact.. I’ve been using a very similar device for a few years now, an H96 Max with an AMLogic S905x3 chip. It’s been great, it runs EmuElec flawlessly, pairs with my Bluetooth controllers and is just a brilliant emulator for retro games, however it struggles with 3D emulation. When I was given the opportunity to test this new H96 box out I jumped at the chance, hoping for better emulation of N64 and PS games, however almost immediately I ran into the wall that is Rockchip.. These chips are just not supported by anyone, no EmuELEC, no CoreELEC, no LibreELEC etc..Considering that you can get H96 boxes running modern AMLogic S905x4 chips for the same price, I see no reason to purchase this as the AMLogic chips are faster and better supported all round. If you just want to run the stock Android OS then this is entirely adequate, it has a pretty nice remote and it works well, but like I said, for the same money you can get something better and on the off chance that you did want to install alternative firmware in the future, you’d be better off buying an AMLogic H96 instead.

surprisingly good
The hardware itself is quite plasticky (and tacky, the image on top is frankly not great, I wish it came in plain black).Anyway, once you get past that, you get a surprisingly fast and responsive tv box, that is well designed, has tons of ports, and will blow the more expensive branded units out of the water. I expected to have a lame duck but it's more like a slightly gaudy eagle, that one.
