Very Durable
I purchased this cutlery set expecting an OK reaction. On the contrary they were great! The quality is exceptional. They're very smooth, no rough splinters or anything whatsoever that might irritate your skin or mouth. They are perfectly fabricated so they fit snuggly one next to the other so they're very compact to store. They get my highest review. Excellent product will be back next year to purchase more for do a fundraising event.

Very nice quality
These are made sturdy and would buy again. Not sure how well the compost as they are still in my composter and have not been in there long enough.

Good
I buy these or something like them all the time because I have an allergy to dish soap. I like the fact that they are compostable, even though it may not happen in my trash. They are sustainable, which I like. You cannot use them on very hard food or they will break. Use a regular knife to cut tougher food. Be sure to only use these once.. For a single person or a party they are great maybe too expensive for a family. The spoons don’t really have a bowl so it’s more of a scoop.

Good but not great
The forks don’t stab, and the knives don’t cut. Just looking at the photos you can see the fork prongs are super short, otherwise they would snap. But they’re cheap and I don’t feel bad throwing them away because it’s just wood.

Good product.
They work well.I use the spoons to stir sweetener in coffee as they really don't work well with soup. The forks are excellent and the knives can spread butter on toast but are generally too short to dip out mayo for a sandwich.I keep a consistent supply on hand.

Poor Design
It's probably a function of the wood material, but you definitely have trade offs in order to be compostable. The spoons are very shallow, the knives are blunt, and the forks have almost unfuctional tines. It's a nice idea to have compostable wood, but I would rent or borrow or buy from Goodwill some real cutlery next time. These are just not worth it.

Yes
Me and my partner recently had a baby and this was my purchase to avoid more dishes lol They are made out of Birch wood, no splinters, feels safer than ingesting micro plastics. Would recommend.

Horrible texture
These were the worst. They take all of the saliva out of your mouth. Had to slide the food off the forks with your teeth because they would not slide along your lips. Go out and lick the bark off of a pine tree if you’d like to know what these were like. I thought they would have been smooth but they definitely were not “finished”. Had a party of 100 people and every single person said they were terrible. Would NOT recommend.
