The product is good enough considering the price tag it has!
After using this product for more than 2 months, I can say I liked the product and following are the reasons:- It does its work real good, rice cooked in it are always cooked the way it has to be.- It has consistent results in the sense that you will always know how rice will look like after cooking as it will always be giving the same best result.- It is compact not very big in size and meant for 4-7 people- very easy to use and clean- good cost considering the work it doesbut the only short coming which I found is that after cooking, rice does stick to the base when you will remove the cooking plate which we place at the base of the cooker, you can see rice always does get burnt at the base though it would be very less, you can scratch and use that as well but again that is an effort that you will have to put every time if you don't like wasting food at all. Again considering the price and its easiness to use it is worth buying. Also if you have a budget more than this than go for an electric cooker that provides a non stick base so that sticking rice is never a problem.

Has been 5 Years since I bought it, value for Money
I bought this cooker in the year 2018 .Mostly to cook maggi as Kettles were not giving good value. This was my first electric cooker. I have cooked mostly every dish in this cooker except chapatis.Have made curries, sabzis, noodles, tea , momos and even baked cake in this. The trick is you should know how to use it properly. It can be used as a boiler, cooker, steamer, oven (Multipurpose)I love the auto-off feature which makes it very reliable and safe.Of course the electric bill will be high as it is an electric product and it will take time to cook stuff that do not involve boiling like baking a cake. The best part is how easy it is to make rice with it.That said, it is very rare to get such products in the market and I am glad that I have it.PS : I have never used water on the electric container part as you can see from the pic, so yes it is dirty.I wash only the aluminium cooking utensil.

Great product - thrilled with my purchase. Thank you Panasonic for making this small version!
We had been using a Panasonic rice cooker for more than 20 years. We decided to buy a new one because the non stick coating on the pan and plate had come off over the years of using almost on daily basis.Unfortunate decision we bought a Pigeon brand. The plate never sat properly on the bottom of the pan and rice would get stuck underneath and burn, difficult to clean. It would also sometimes not come on (due to design problem of the pan not sitting properly on the heating element). We exchanged it and even in the new one we had problems including after cooking we would find the plate on top and all the rice underneath. (Defective design). Fed up with the Pigeon rice cooker (still retained with us as a back up), I decided to go back to our trustworthy brand, and buy this small version of it.We are so happy with it. It's cute and small, has enough capacity to cook rice for 3 people for 2 meals (lunch and dinner, at least for our requirement). Not had a single issue with it from day 1 (unlike the Pigeon one). I use it almost every day. Just in love with it!Thank you, Panasonic, for your amazing products!Happily recommend this to all the families out there looking for a trust worthy brand and dependable rice cooker.

Must buy....
I was in search for a product like this for so long. The rice cooker is amazing and is of very good quality. It is easy to use and being a student it really helps me a lot. It is a rice cooker but i cook all sort of things in it like dal, oats, pasta, rajma veg rice etc. It is a must have for anyone who likes to cook themselves without too much hussle.Tips:1. Dont use a scrubber to clean the cooker. Use a soft sponge instead.2.Never forget to put the cooking plate before you start cooking.3.It is an automatic cooker but while cooking anything else than rice, you have to keep on checking in between to ensure that whatever you are cooking is not burnt.Hope i helped 😊....

Defective Products are disposed off under "On Sale" Campaigns! Lost Trust in Online Purchases!
On the first use of it, the rice cooker did not function correctly. Within few minutes of switching on, it automatically got switched off. I have to keep repeated press down the "Cooking"button. Initially, I did not want to return it for this item thinking that it could be a initial hiccup. The problem is repeated four times. Today, it is very bad as I have to press down the button almost 10 times. As one month has passed, Amazon does not allow me to return it back. I don't know what to do now!I am feeling cheated and learnt a lesson that the products sold under "On Sale" campaign are defective and I am convinced that manufacturers push defective products in the "On Sale" campaign on discounts! Due to all such bad experiences, I am loosing trust in the online purchases. The traditional "touch and feel" purchases are much reliable compared to the online purchases! I think many Amazon users might have similar experiences. Though, I am an IT Professional with 25 yrs of experience, I do not support the online purchases (it hurts the IT projects in future) as I have multiple bad experiences almost all online purchases on Amazon, Flipkart, and Craftsvilla!
