Perfect for a non-intrusive view into bird life
Wow I am so glad I bought this! I found a bird nest with a few eggs inside tucked into a rock wall near my driveway and really wanted to check in on what was happening without scaring the mother bird away. I ended up buying this smart bird house with camera mainly to use the camera. Setting it up was easy and within a couple of minutes I had a live stream of the nest on my phone! Shortly after placing the camera mother bird returned and I've been able to check in on her every day since. One chick already hatched! Two eggs remain.I didn't use the birdhouse, but I'm so happy with the quality of the camera that I do plan on setting it up in the birdhouse after this nest is empty. 10/10 would recommend!

Gives great video
This smart bird house looks nice and is easy to setup. The camera has a magnetic base to hold it in place but does not provide a full view of the entry and floor. I did have to download another app to my phone in order to use this, and there is no web interface, so I can watch only where I’ve downloaded the app unless I export video clips from the app. The camera takes quality video and allows us to watch whats happening in real time or watch later. No one has moved in yet, but a few have checked it out. For now we will keep it up in case there are late nesters and it will be in place for next spring as well. It does have three holes which let light in, so some birds may not like it. The light coming in the holes can actually activate the camera so that it sometimes records the light moving. Also, a birdhouse should be solar-powered as it needs to be plugged in unless you can figure out how to use a rechargeable battery with it instead. Overall, it takes great videos and we are excited to see who may move in.

What a cool way to watch birds
This is the coolest birdhouse. First off it looks really nice. It’s made of like a rustic wood vibe. So it looks prettier than some of the more metal looking bird houses. It has an inside compartment for birds to build a nest and that’s where the camera fits into it. It has like an app for you to download to watch the video and it’s really cool. So far we haven’t had any birds nest in it because it’s the wrong season. But, we have had some birds come check it out and that’s been exciting. I’m really impressed. It’s not a high-grade quality but it’s good enough to watch the birds. We are homeschooling, family, and this greatly enriches our day.

Brilliant!
The design of this birdhouse is simple, with easy to access, and the camera works great. One of the side walls opens up wide for easy camera access and cleaning, but has a small wooden toggle to keep it secure when the birds are inside. The camera generates a clear, sharp picture, perfect for birdie close ups. Setting up the app took me a bit longer than I would have preferred because I first had to figure out how to switch my router to 2.4G instead of 5G, but once I did that it was pretty smooth sailing. Don't be afraid to reset the camera to factory settings if it's not connecting properly...after I did that the setup went much quicker. The camera can be set to continuous filming or motion-detected filming. Comes with mounting hardware. Overall, I am quite pleased and looking forward to watching the baby birds!

Thought out as a kit, but feels like it needs some personalization.
Overall it's a interesting and actually nicely design kit for what it is. The bird house is very plain and generic looking, but inside it has a metal plate to mount the camera and a hole to run through the camera cord. The camera does have to be powered, but can use a battery pack, though you will have to rig something up to hold the battery pack.I know it says it's a 100% wood, 0% paint restore the natural environment on one of the images of the product to make it sound hoity toity, but this thing looks like it's built in a 4th graders wood shop when it comes to complexity (Nice cuts, no issues, but pretty much a rectangle with a roof). I didn't care for the little bird image branded into the front. There's a side access latch that is just a wood piece on a swivel.Setup was painless both on the bird house and the app. You do have to register for the app. The camera quality is actually really great. I was floored by not only the sharpness from it, but the color and contrast. I've attached a sample shot it took from my desk, which wasn't exactly well lit.The camera seems to have a set focus distance that's pretty close, so if you are looking to use this camera for something else just be aware anything past 8~9 inches will start to go out of focus fairly quickly. What's in focus is really nice and sharp though.Outside of how generic and elementary the bird house looks, the product as a whole is pretty impressive. The camera was very easy to setup, and it looks great. We only installed it outside recently so there hasn't been a bird building it's nest just yet, but I will update it if we finally get a bird family in it.

Better than my other one!
I got 2 bird cameras for my mom and out of them both we loved this one way more! it looks more natural due to the raw wood look which birds are more attracted to. setting up the app and camera was a bit of work but nothing too hard if you know technology well (my mom wouldn't have been able to do it). it's really HD and the house is sturdy and well built. Definitely a must!

Looked great - but then...
I read the phone app "Privacy Notice" and WOW! There basically is NO PRIVACY.By installing and running the app, it basically gives the app full rights to collect data from your phone and network(s) you connect to. Upon reading how the notice was written (not in native English), it's pretty clear your information is sent overseas. Because the app appears to be authored by "Tony Lee", my guess is that YOUR INFO GOES TO CHINA!!!! Uh-uh... Alll I want is to see some birds! Not give up my banking app info. I'll be returning this.
