Very durable straps . We used them to strap down our kennel cover due we live in high wind area. If we lose the cover now it will be due to the cover ripping not due to the straps breaking!

The first tie I tried out was very difficult to get together; I kept trying and eventually got it to work, but then I tried the release tool and gave up. Thinking that the first one had issues from the beginning that might have prevented the tool from working, I tried another. This went together smoothly on the first attempt, but I still couldn't get it to come apart with the tool. I don't know if it is technique sensitive, but I couldn't get it to work. These will be great to use when you want a permanent solution, but I wouldn't count on using them and then being able to undo them with that cheap little tool.

I used these for attaching welded wore fencing to tposts. I wish I bought the kit with the tightening pliers, but regular pliers worked ok. They held up well and continue to hold up to daily abuse by the dogs and goat.

We purchased a new, unused kennel from a friend and needed something to secure the fencing. My husband could not believe his ears when I told him there is such thing as steel zip ties. He doubted the whole process until he saw them in action. They worked perfectly and saved us a ton of time and money! Highly recommend!

I have been looking at solid ways to connect things to my bikes. For example, I have some bikes that have no holes for bottle holders. I wanted to be able to firmly mount bottle cages to the frames, and there are tight gaps that needed to be navigated -- ones that plastic cable ties would not be able to go through.These meet the needs quite nicely. I'm still a little puzzled about how these work, but they work surprisingly well. These snugly hold the bottle cage mounts to the frame, and were easily snugged up to the frame (one of which was not a round frame, and these conformed nicely to the strange shape). These were really ideal for the need, so I'm glad I was able to find these.Cutting the zip ties was achievable with standard scissors. The gloves it came with were useful in not cutting my hands -- these are pretty sharp ties, so they require safe handling, and I appreciate the thoughtfulness of including the gloves.As these will be used outside, I will be checking these for rust at some point. Since they're supposed to be stainless steel, I hope they should stay rust-free, but I will update if I notice any rust going forward.

This is a very strong zip tie and weather resistant. It is relatively easy to use, but don't forget to wear gloves. Luckly, the package contains one pair of gloves already. In addition, a special tool – like a small screwdriver – is also included in the package. This small tool is used to remove the tie if you want to move to another place. I have tried and it works. You need to push the small ball inside the lock from the back side of the lock head while pulling the tie to loosen. I used these stainless steel zip ties to replace the existing plastic zip ties for my outdoor bird feeder setup, see my photos. It is very good value.
