High quality headphone hanger
The first thing that strikes you about this hanger, a rather low tech device in the bigger scheme of all things audio, is how well it is made and Brainwavz have thoughtfully included a hex wrench with a screw driver at one end to help installation. Once you fit it to your the surface using either vertical or horizontal clamp orientation there's no way this will move from its place. The construction is very good, impressive actually, and imparts confidence that it won't drop your precious headphones. So all that being said why the 4 star rating and not 5? Well, doesn't have a ' retention lip' that will prevent an headphone from being inadvertently struck and sliding off the edge. But one can improvise and create a lip using some foam tape or similar product to help retain the headphone in place. Unfortunately Brainwavz's own product the 'Hooka' has the 'lip' but sadly has the 3M VHB which somehow doesn't inspire confidence when using it for large cans like the Sennheiser HD 59x/6x0 and the A-T M series. Looks like Brainwavz need to work on their designs because neither one of these products, the Hooka or the Hengja, are perfect but could easily be so with a simple change. Conclusion - highly recommended with a single caveat. Buy this for your home and do not attach to furniture in areas where there are heavy footfalls for e.g. in an office where the headphone could get pushed off the edge.

Well made and quite useful
Incredibly useful - latches on to most surfaces quite well (has two orientations - horizontal and vertical). I am currently using this to hang my HD 598s off the side of my desk. Docking a star because the included Allen Key was rather fragile. The thin end snapped off while I was tightening the bolt. Had to use a normal screwdriver in its stead. Love the product though. Wish I had an option to give them 4.5 stars because a whole stars seems like a rather harsh penalty for the Allen Key mess up, especially in light of the quality of the rest of the product.PS I'd appreciate a version of this product with a lip at the end of the stem used to hang the headphones. That'll ensure that headphones don't fall off due to someone accidentally brushing against them while they're hanging.Pro Tip: Use an office binder clip with a pen stuck in it to stop the headphones from falling off. Just clip it on to the open end. Not the most elegant solution but it does work.

This headphone stand is extremely well built and sturdy stand made completely of metal
This headphone stand is extremely well built and sturdy stand made completely of metal. One thing I want to out is that now it comes with an Allen key in the box that can be used to loosen the Allen bolt in the middle to adjust the height and to change the orientation of the stand in case you want to clip it onto a rack. However the bolt is extremely tight and even with all my might I failed to loosen it but I didn’t really need to.I bought it primarily to hang a couple of iem's. The surface area of the stand is small so while it is perfect for headphones with headband sizes likewise of the ATH M50's but headphones with thicker headbands like most of the AKG's might stick out a bit.You can remove the 1st screw and extend the stand to accommodate headphones with larger headbands.Bottom line at 1000 INR you cannot really go wrong with it, its well worth the price and will last forever.

Pricey, but worth it
I bought it for Rs. 900. And although slightly higher in price, the quality says it all. It is all metal, feels sturdy and looks good.Ships with a key to fasten the clamp and is very easy to install either vertically or horizontally at the edge of the table (I use the horizontal configuration to hang my SteelSeries Headphones). Its wide enough to support even 2 inch think tables, and clamp can be tightened to support thinner surfaces.Pros:- Good quality- Looks cool- 2 year warranty- No hassle installation and removal- Headphones doesn't occupy any space on the table, keeps my surface clutter free, as they can be hanged from the edgeCons- A bit priceyFor me pros outweigh the cons.

Excellent
Excellent, safe and sturdy. Doesn’t damage the headphone ear ups or the band unlike the other wooden headphone stands. Looking for another one as also if there are any dual headphone rests.Just that the screw is a bit too tight to be turned to make it a vertical headphone stand.

As Advertised
I was looking for a good budget desk mount headphone hanger for my Audio Technica ATH-M50x. I found Brainwavz Hengja as the best option available in india. I saw YouTube review video from Bharat, from Tech matrix channel and decided to buy this.Pros:Hanger is made of metal and powder coat.Easy to assemble.Very rigid and sturdy.Cons:The fixing knob should made of tool-less design, we can tight/loose using our hand instead of tool. The price keeps fluctuating from 999 INR to 2360INR. I waited for some days to get this at INR999.I was happy and it serves the purpose .5 Stars for Delivery, packaging and product.

Great build quality, good hanger to hold your headset
The hanger is exactly what I wanted. The clamp's thick enough to hold my Xtatic Digital 5.1 headset, I'd imagine it'd wide enough for almost every other headset. The build quality is solid, the clamp can fit to table of most sizes as it comes with a screw to tighten. My only grouse is that the handle provided to tighten the screw is a bit hard to hold and tighten.Considering the cheaper headphone hangers are plastic and likely to withstand heavy headsets and cost maybe ₹200 lesser, this is as good as it gets.Highly recommend.

Issues Galore, though SOLUTIONS....
This little thing came with an unexpected host of problems. Unpacking it, I realised it wasn't going to fit my desk in any way (horizontal or vertical) since it wasn't wide enough. i was pleased to see that it was adjustable via the allen screw. It comes supplied with an allen key / screwdriver hybrid tool. This proves useless as the screen cannot be moved for love nor money by hand (I realize this sounds ridiculous, but I'm a once-was hand strength and conditioning specialist for what that might add to the credibility!). I couldn't even lever the screw with the weight of a sunbed. Out comes the drill. I had to clamp it between the floor and a box and using the drill with an allen key piece, i gave it a short firm burst and it loosened.Fitting and attempting to clamp to the desk; I gave the supplied tool a try with the screwdriver end which is required for the clamp screw. I went as far I could go and the hanger is still slack (on the vertical). What's more, the clamp hadn't tightened, the evident poor quality metal, had just bent. Therefore, there's enough so far you can go with the clamp (which is not enough) before the metal bends. Testing it, I could easily bend the metal with my hands. The fact that this cannot hold on the vertical is bolstered by the unfathomable issue of there not being a stop on the end of the hanger to prevent potentially expensive headphone dropping to the floor. If the hanger slackens or is knocked very slightly, that 'hanger' is now a RAMP. Being the proud owner of HD660s, that's a concern as I'm sure it is for others.Note that this sagging will not be an issue for horizontal mounting. Finally, the adjustment allen screw is just waiting to scratch your headphones headband. A rubber cap should be supplied. Some SOLUTIONS:* Stack adhesive pads onto the end of the hangar to make your own stop.* Use a bit of double sided tape (Mammoth is great) to secure to prevent sagging downwards.* Use another adhesive pad (rubber or material) to stick on the allen screw to prevent scratching.SEE PHOTOS for these mods.

Sturdy, premium-feel and design, great!
Sleek and sturdy all-metal design, secure and stable when fitted, relatively easy to adjust, wide/deep/large enough area to hang even chunky headphones, I just wish it could be tightened slightly more (I've overcome this hurdle by placing a small piece of wood (happened to be the first thing I had around) between the tightening surface and the desk/table top).Hard to believe that I've been using this headphone stand for literally around 5 years at the time of writing this review, which is a testament to its reliability and value for money!(Someone asked me about it, and suddenly realised I never wrote a review, so here we are, what a 5 years it's been..)

Does what you'd expect and seems very sturdy.
A nice way to keep your headphones somewhere out of the way but accessible, simple to set up and seems very sturdy. It includes an hex/allen key with a screw driver at the other end which is the only tool you need to set it up. To use it horizontally it's just a case of attaching it via the clamp to whatever horizontal surface. To flip it to the other orientation, you just have to undo a hex screw, turn it, tighten that screw then use the clamp. It's obvious once it's in your hand anyway. If you have a nice set of headphones, you should really have something like this and I can't think of any way that this wouldn't do the job perfectly so long as you have somewhere suitable to attach it, a surface about an inch and a half deep and no more than about an inch deep should be fine.

Versatile little clamp and hook
This hook is very versatile. Its quite a simple design overall which you can adjust to clamp onto the horizontal edge of a desk top or vertical side of a table leg.I ended up clamping it to the lower half of my desk lamp.It feels pretty solid metal, but the thread of the screw was a little difficult to tighten for me. It also only has one side of the clamp with foam on, I might suggest both sides having foam or something for grip. In the end I employed a bit of cardboard and bluetack inside the clamp to add a bit more friction and that's done the job very well.

it's a nice sturdy headphone hanger and it's easy to install
I brought this to hold my new work headphones, it's a nice sturdy headphone hanger and it's easy to install. It's capable of holding very big headphones like my home Razer Tiamat 7.1 true surround sound speakers and easily holds my work Sennheiser HD 449's so I've decided to order another one.The only gripes I have with it are I wish the hanger was a little longer so as my Tiamats only just fit but considering the size of the headband not many others will have this issue and my sennheisers which are more of an average size fit with more than enough spare room to hang a second pair. My other issue is the tool which comes with it broke easily while tightening it to the desk, not a real issue though as it says there isn't included in the description but it would have been nice to have the tool made of a stronger metal.Overall a great headphone hanger with no real downsides just a few niggles which would only effect you if you have larger headphones.
