Worst Product from kitchenaid
The worst product I have purchased at a premium. Especially from a brand like kitchenaid, I have multiple products from kitchenaid like the standmixer, cordless blender, mixer etc. I have been extremely satisfied with them and I decided to try another product from them. The regular coffee makers from reputable brands like Philips or black and decker is priced under Rs. 3000 while kitchenaid being a premium brand has priced theirs around Rs. 15000. I bought mine for Rs. 14400 from amazon and is regretting the purchase. The main differences which made this product appealing to me and made me splurge the difference of more than than 12000/- is the fact that kitchenaid has a pour over technology and the fact that even with a full reservoir of water I can choose how many cups of coffee I need to brew precisely, due to their precision water selection. The product has a tiny and dark window as water level indicator and it didn’t bother me since the product is supposed to select the right amount of water.I have tried making coffee many times to try and see if it’s some glitch that might straighten out, but come what may the number of cups in the system doesn’t mean anything, it brews coffee the way it wants. The image shows for 5 cups and it has brewed 7 cups and the tank had precisely 8 cups of water . The second time for 5 cups it’s brewed 6 cups when the tank held 7 cups of water. No relation to anything. Absolute waste of money. I miss my old coffee maker so dearly which was a Russell Hobbs glass touch variant, which served me well for 5 years !
