My Mr Cool was smaller so I did have to cut the stand to fit. However, the bottom cross piece is agreat place for the extra refrigerant lines to lie flat for proper operation. Highly recommended butmake sure your unit will fit the dimensions. If you have a smaller unit like mine you will need to modify it.

The screws for attaching the mounting bases to the legs were the wrong size and type. I could have gone to the hardware store but realized the holes in the legs were too small for the correct size and would have to also drill larger holes. Since the frame was not very sturdy, I decided to build a wood base out of 2 x 6s instead and screwed legs directly to that which also made it more durable. The screws for the cross members could not be tightened as much as I wanted because the frame steel is very thin. When assembled it was not square and wobbled. Also, some of the paint was scratched and rust was coming up from under paint on the bases. They obviously painted rusty steel. Some paint flaked off when bending the steel to make it fit. The hardware was soft. I have experience in equipment manufacturing so I expected this to be super easy but it turned into a big project. Bought this to mount a mini split and now regret it. I should have just bought the lumber and hardware to custom build one. It would have been stronger, more durable, and saved time and money.
