We bought these to replace glasses we had purchased via mail order which had unstable bases, and were concerned we'd made the same mistake twice. These are sturdy glasses with a very flat and stable base (no accidents!). They're a nice design, not fussy, and not too plain. The stem is not too long and a good width, making it easy to put in the dishwasher or to wash up by hand. They were described as dishwasher safe, and after multiple washes we can say there are no marks or staining. The glasses are 200ml, so smaller than the largest glass of wine (250ml) available in pubs and restaurants. If you want large glasses for glugging, avoid. But if you want something small, practical and sturdy these are great - perfect for everyday. If you want something like restaurant style glasses with thin glass, these are not for you.

We searched high and low for small wine glasses, partly because we wish to drink only modest amounts of wine and partly because they need to withstand the dishwasher. Other options were either not small enough (do sensible health-conscious people really drink half a bottle of wine per glass?!!) or were too flimsy or ugly. These Ravenhead glasses are smooth to drink from and pleasant to hold with a pleasing shape, and can survive regular dishwasher heat without becoming cloudy. As a result I bought plenty!

These glasses are ideal for me, as they are very sturdy! I've had them a while now with none breaking. They are excellent value for a money, as they last so well. They are quite small, which is perfect for me as I prefer a smaller glass of wine each time. They wash well, are not too heavy and feel comfortable to hold. I highly recommend.

I was nervous about ordering these online but they arrived intact and in perfect condition. They are beautiful glasses, a really lovely shape, and elegant to the eye. They are made by Ravenhead, a name i grew up with, and have always associated with good quality glassware and value for money. I also like the fact they are not made of that awful paper thin glass that is liable to land you in A & E if you accidentally break one. I am really delighted with these.

Yes, these are white wine glasses and are great, but for me, they are too small. They are more like half a glass.

More tall and narrow than I wanted... not really "practical" and tip over far too easily

Les dimensions sont fantaisistes et incompréhensibles. Mais les verres sont jolis et semblent résistants.
