Very happy with this heater which was purchased to heat a 1000 sf basement which it does. The control panel is on the top and it's very easy to change the settings. I like the fact that it oscillates to distribute heat evenly, and the glowing flame adds a cozy vibe. One minor annoyance - when I turn it on it defaults to fan mode. I assumed that since it's a heater it would start in low heat mode. This was only annoying because I forgot to adjust it a few times, so it was blowing the cold air around. Might've helped if I'd read the operating instructions...

The media could not be loaded. I replaced a shorter heating unit with the same heat rating. This unit has a more efficient heating due to using the high or low setting. The visual fire effect adds a nice ambiance. Investment will spent.

This is a very nice heater, and it does it's job really well. I use it to heat part of my home (approx. 800 sqft), as I said it does the job very nicely, however... The unit's fan never shuts down. I use the temperature control at 70*, and when the unit gets the room to that temperature, the heat shuts down, but the fan continues to stay on which then just blows cold air. I've tried all the controls and referenced the manual, but can't find anything to indicate I'm doing anything wrong. The heater is near a large chair I use for reading, and when I'd like to maintain my warmth, I get hit with cold air when the heat goes off.. this is very frustrating and why I can't give the unit 5 stars, and possible 4 is being too generous. Every other heater I've ever used like this has always turned the fan off after the heat got up to temperature.. plus I can't imagine that the fan being on constantly is good for the fan, I feel that it's going to wear out prematurely.

A phenomenal concept so poorly executed, I can not even rationalize keeping it. Where do I begin...First off, when you open the box to find pieces and a bag of screws, with NO assembly instructions, that should be your first clue trouble looms. As you go through the Instruction manual that does come with it, and see things like "operating" spelled "operationg", or sentences worded "Why does the heater is releasing.." and "Why we cannot adjust temperature when we under...", you know this is going to be just another cheap piece of Chinese junk. And low and behold...it is!Product description and instruction manual continually refer to the "ECO mode", however there is no "ECO mode" identified on the unit itself, but rather "auto"...meaning you use the thermostat to set your desired temperature. Both the product description and the instruction manual then go on to say that in this mode, when the room reaches the set temperature, the "fan will release cool air to protect the motor and keep the thermostat (cool)...shutting off after 30 seconds." (the word "cool" is missing from the instruction manual also :) ) Turns out, the fan never shuts off...it runs constantly. What sense does it make to run the heater to warm up the room, only to have the fan stay on constantly to cool the room back down????? Unbelievable!!!As for the heat output itself....extremely, extremely poor. I ran mine in the "high heat" mode...it took forever to heat up a very small bedroom space (approx 96 square feet). I have a small ceramic style heater (the same heating element design as this one) that is about 9"x9", made by Pelonis, that puts out twice as much heat as this one when it is in the "low heat" mode!!I should have read the reviews a little closer before I ordered this unit. The same shortcomings in the product design and execution are also noted in numerous other reviews. How Amazon can show this as having "4 stars" is beyond me. This unit is, as mentioned before, nothing but Chinese junk. I will be returning mine as soon as the more reputable branded heating unit I ordered arrives.

For years now

I like the false flame. I don't like the fact it won't shut off when it reaches the thermostat temperature like other space heaters i have. It just blows cold air.I found rusted screws when it arrived telling me this was either a return or in long term storage.The fan is noisier than advertised. Sleeping with it is difficult.To get the room to 71 I need to set it at 78.My other space heater isn't any better. I set it to 67 and the room warms up to 74 before it stops but at least it shuts off when temp is reached.Full disclosure my bedroom is 346 Sq feet.This heater needs to shut off when not heating.

The size is a good size, the durability is good, it beats well, and I use it inside of my bedroom to keep the room warm. It is a good value for the money. This is my second year of using it.

The heater itself worked fine. I used it last winter as supplemental heat in my living room. This year upon getting it out to use again I noticed the inner fan area caked with thick dust. There are ZERO instructions on how to clean this area let alone access it. I removed multiple screws from the back and am still unable to take the cover off to access the inner area and clean the dust.I will not be using this again as I feel it is a big time fire hazard.The heater is fine if you only expect to get one winter of use out of it.I’m very very disappointed in this product and do NOT recommend. Waste of $150
