Tarkan Dual Fan Cooling Pad with Dual LED, Fan Control Switch, USB 2.0 Hub, Multi Angle Stand, Suitable for upto 15.6 inch Laptops

Bought it for my Sister to gift her in this Raksha Bandhan... My sister has HP 630 Notebook which is a 15.6" Laptop and this Cooling Pad from Tarkan perfectly fit underneath the Laptop. I have searched for last few weeks and thoroughly checked every features of all other brands and finally decided to buy this model from Tarkan and bought it in Lightning Deal and got INR 100/- discount... :)I am fully satisfied with its performance. I have personally checked this cooling pad and let her understand how it works. And she is happy in the end. :)Now Review :-----------------This Cooling Pad came with 13.6" of width and came as exactly shown on the product page. Thanks to the seller.As I measured it and the width is 13.6", hence a laptop with maximum size of 15.6" will perfectly fit over it. Only 1" on both side of the Laptop will be outside over the Cooling Pad and that's not a problem at all.What matters is actually the Fan Position and as this cooling pad comes with dual fans, my sister's laptop got fitted perfectly on this cooling pad and the CPU Fan vent is perfectly fitted over the fans.Now about the fans functionality :---------------------------------------------1. This cooling pad is said to be equipped with two fans and both the fans spin at rated 1200 rpm which is better to cool down a laptop processing heat. The interesting fact is, both the fans spin at 1200 rpm at respect to full speed but they don't cause any little bit of spinning noise like what we hear in a Desktop CPU Cabinet fans.2. These fans are super silent and the Dual Blue LEDs are free add-ons to this Cooling Pad. Looks fantastic when connected to the USB Port of the Laptop.3. Both the fans flow Airs Downwards i.e. these fans work like they take the hot air from the Laptop and flow those hot air downwards so that the heat can get away from the CPU Vents.4. Light weight and you will feel like nothing is there, even you can move and carry the whole unit to different places i.e. the laptop fitted over the cooling pad.5. Male-to-Male USB Cable is provided in the box which will power up the Cooling Pad. Just connect the USB Cable to one of your Laptop USB Ports and you are done. And the great part is, there is two USB Ports provided in the top edge of the Pad so that you can use one USB port as to connect your flash drives or something like that. So basically you are not blocking one USB port on your laptop. It is true that you are powering up the Pad through one of your USB Ports on your laptop but the cooling pad is providing you a free USB Port which you can use to connect any USB Device to your Laptop. That's called "NO WASTAGE".. :)6. There are 5 standing positions in the back of the Cooling pad by which you can adjust the height of the Cooling pad as well as the Laptop as per your convenience. Easy to operate. My recommendation is: Set the Cooling Pad at the highest position so that the hot air can get dissipate smoothly.7. There is a "Resting" mechanism available at the bottom edge position and that can be flipped out so that the Laptop doesn't get slipped when the cooling pad is set as inclined position. It can be flipped back in to its previous position as per your choice.8. There is a control knob available at the top edge where the two USB Ports are available and using that knob, you can adjust the fan speed. Though I want to recommend to set the knob at its max position to get maximum air flow.9. Initially you won't feel air flow like a wind or something, but that's enough to cool down the Laptop CPU Heat.10. The body and the fans are made of ABS Plastic and the front mesh grill is made of metal.11. The cooling pad got 4 rubberized pads beneath the body so that it doesn't get slipped by chance.12. Some reviewers expressed some disappointments for not having an on/off button for the Blue LED Lights but let me tell you, these blue lights wont affect you much as most of the lights will get covered once the laptop is placed over the pad and the rest of the lights don't annoy at all.So those are all from my observations and I have seen the difference in CPU Temperature before and after using the cooling pad. Initially my sister is having the HP 630 Notebook with Intel i3 2nd Gen processor and she often use the laptop placing it over the table or bed and that blocks the CPU Vent causing excessive heat like you can't keep the palm on the touch pad position.I have taken a look at the CPU Temperature ( I used "Core Temp v2.8" to monitor the CPU Temp ) while she was using it for few hours without the cooling pad and the temp goes around 68 degrees Celsius and after using the same laptop on the cooling pad it showed CPU temp around 31-32 degrees after using the same for few hours. So, definitely it worked and now my sister is so happy after having this cooling pad. Though my sister is not a gamer at all but she uses the laptop for her own works using some bulky softwares and that used to cause lot of heating issue.Thanks Tarkan for building this Awesome Cooling Pad.And that's all from me. This is actually a laptop stand with a fan and an LED light inside it. The fans have literally zero effect on the temperature. The temperature remains same when on the pad and when raised above with a book or something.The temperature is same when placed on the cooling pad and when held in hand with the laptop air intakes exposed, so in conclusion the fans are literally useless, unless you want to use it as a laptop stand to keep the laptop raised and intake exposed.

I like this cooling pad but there is one problem which is there is not a adjustable back stand and also when I push my laptop backside then the stand instantly falls down and you should be very careful while using this you should not push your laptop backwards.....overall looks are very cool and the main reason to order this cooling pad was to cool laptop and its good I have tested it ..but from my point of view you should not buy this cooling pad because its very costly as price in this rice you will get very efficient cooling pad with adjustable lock stand back and with good cooling , although its my 4 day experience with this cooling pad guys...

Cooling capacity is good...But the product are half defective..I order and I received it with lose cord connection was not proper so fans were not working ... Replaced this product and received damaged product.... I was an emergency for me that's y i am using that damaged product ...And was not sure that the product I will receive next will be fine enough to use without any damage

Excellent design and materials, but front piece that keeps laptop from sliding off stand when at an angle is not so sturdy and broke soon after buying it. I had to buy another cooler and glued the front piece in place with some crazy glue. Now it seems very sturdy.

I am using this with MacBook Pro 2012 model and use a widget called Fanny to check temperature and I didn't notice any drop in CPU temperature on using this cooling pad, at best I would say there is a drop of 1C or 2C, that's it, the widget unfortunately doesn't show system temperature, so for CPU cooling this cooling pad doesn't do much. I also have another cooling pad from DeepCool brand which has a stronger air flow and noticed that it doesn't really make any difference as far CPU temperature is concerned, so basically at idle the Mac's CPU temp falls below 40C and when in use depending on the room temperature it goes around 40C-55C, these temp readings are in a non-ac room.I liked the cooling pad design, build quality and blue lighting, it feels premium. The MacBook fits perfectly on it and since the cooling pad is compact there is space for placing mouse which is exactly why I bought this cooling pad.
