The Amazon Echo Spot is easily one of the more interesting Alexa-powered devices Amazon has released recently. It’s far better equipped to blend into your home’s decor than the Echo Show and the circular touchscreen adds valuable extra features.I adore the Echo Spot. It looks great on my nightstand, and my wife loves it using it in the kitchen to look up recipes or add to her grocery list. The screen enhances the standard Alexa experience; I love being able to see the information rather than just listen to it. Video-calling is also a bonus. Plus, who knows what other uses Amazon and third-party developers will add to the display over time

Alexa you are given a female name for nothing.Echo Spot is just amazing.You ask who the president of USA is and the answer comes with a picture of Donald Trump in all his glory, same with Indian prime minister.Ask her to play Michel Jackson Thriller from 7 meters away and it gets played with the correct album cover showing.You can play true or false with her. There are a lot of enhancement you can apply on line using the supplier app.If you have a prime membership you can play Prime music , Prime video.The screen shows a clock, customisable with 40 different dials.Or a screen saver.She is a companion; you can tell her to remember things and she will.She is a pet. you can talk to her. she will talk to you back.She is your secretary: I told her to call my mobile and she asked me by naming each of my devices, which one?

I just love this product.I have been looking for a smart speaker for my home which looks cute & compact.I got this one for 6000 on prime day deals.When it comes to sound quality it is fine.Voice recognition could have been better,sometimes it didn't recognize my voice.I recommend to buy this speaker for those who are looking for a small & compact one.you can even use it as a table clock where you can take a photo & use it as a wallpaper. Very good product.

Hello, I have been a fan of Amazon products since long time now, and just added another product to my list. I always wanted to buy, echo spot, but the cost factor was not on my side. And then came, prime day sale, and I picked this up for a price of 8000/- INR.About the product, this is a voice assistance, in a speaker and screen form. If you have used an echo, or an echo dot before, you will find this more better, as its got a screen now. Thou, the screen is small, and spherical shape which means you will see large bezels when you watch a prime video, music video. But you get to used to it after a while. The touch is nice a responsive. Thou, I havent tested the camera quality, but I more of less looks like a good basic web camera to do an spot to spot call.The spot is bulky, and way larger then echo dot. But that dont spoil the fun.Because it just going to lie on your bed table, study or office desk.I would have loved if they included micro USB/type C rather the regular power pin (I really donot know as to why the regular power pin in this age).The power supply is 15W, which is good enough, and the wifi connectivity, Bluetooth work great. I also connected it with the external speaker, and it worked well too!!Things it does for you :-Can read your messages, and display them on screen.Can play all prime videos.Can play all prime music.Can set up a reminder/alarmIt can also book a cab for youIt can be connected to you smart lamps, bulbs and can be controlled via Alexa.It can give you all cricket scores, trivia, etc.AND MUCH MORE!!!!!Finally : Couple of things, I would love to see on Alexa spot1.) Micro USB or TYPE C for power options,2.) Include a battery, so that if the power is cut, it will run on a battery.3.) Include SKYPE4.) Include a MICRO SD card...Thanks you guys,Shabbir

The media could not be loaded.  Really saddened to write the review. My cutest gadget failed. Exactly 16 months after I bought it, the screen started flickering and text or image stated jumping on screen. To my surprise on Amazon official forum, there are more than 100 odd posts with the exact same issue and that too which have happened recently in most cases. In all probability a recent software update has caused the issue. But Amazon India has totally failed to acknowledge or accept it. The moderator on the amazon global forum thread has said the issue has been forwarded to technical team. But back home here talking to Amazon India customer care, I have been told that they are not aware of any such issue and I have been directed to get it repaired at my own expense. Its extremely sad for a device (Infact 100s as i am can see on forum) to fail just outside the warranty period. I have 5 odd echo devices including echo plus, echo show 5, echo spot, echo dots now. Having invested so much in the eco system and being a loyal customer, I was expecting much more from Amazon. Have been given number of their associate service partner. No one picks the phone up beyond the IVR, even during working hours there. An online pick up request on their website has also been of no avail. The pick up date came and went by. No one even contacted from service centre or courier company. Just received an automated email for pick up schedule. So basically I have a 13000 worth of paper weight to crib over with absolutely no support from Amazon or their service partner.

I love how easy it is to use this device - even my kids enjoy playing with the "Alexa" voice assistant. She plays games like "Magic Door", an interactive game, and also answers questions like "What is the biggest dinosaur?".I use Alexa to manage my work and home tasks, and to remember things like "What time is my next meeting?" (She connects to my calendar).Screen: The screen gives tips on what to say, and how to talk to Alexa. I can see the time and choose a background image from my phone or from my Facebook account. Its great fun to use!
