I'm using this product to cover my toes that are sticking out of a cast, and now my toes are toasty warm! The sock is made of a fairly thick fleece material, and has some thick rubber pieces on one side so if you're able to use that foot at all, it won't be as slippery. I'm non-weight bearing right now, so I haven't been able to check that feature too much, however, I have been able to use my foot to trap a piece of paper and slide it closer to me and for that, it's been great! I don't have any reason to think it's not going to work once I'm able to stand on it.One problem I've had with this product is that because it's fleece, if it's windy outside, that blows right through the sock. So on those days, I've added a few cotton balls inside the sock before I put it on my foot, and that helped tremendously. On days that are not cold, a breeze will probably feel pretty good coming through the sock.The only other problem I've had with these socks is that because I'm using this on my left foot, the buckle is on the inside of my cast. When I'm sleeping on my side, putting my feet together means that buckle is pressing in to my non-cast foot. To get around that, I put the sock on with the rubber side facing up, and that puts the buckle on the outside of my foot which doesn't bother me at all when I'm sleeping. I just have to remember to change it back when I get up in the morning.Overall, I really like these socks and I'm happy with the purchase. They feel like they're made with good materials that are going to last. There's plenty of extra strap for bigger (men's) feet, (I have to tuck in the extra). They're black so they do show dog/cat hair but it's on my foot so nobody notices. :)

Okay, face it, when your significant other breaks a leg and goes in a cast when it is cold., nothing is ever comfortable. Bare toes were sticking out of the cast and complaints of cold feet started within hours of getting a cast put on. I quickly began to look for something that would resolve the issue and these looked handy enough. They arrived in record time and were easy to use. They are adjustable and keep the toes relatively comfortable and have a non-skid side. They wash nicely and perform the job. So far they have held up and served their purpose. Happy with this product.

Good product. Easy to get on and off. Straps keep them in place. Kept feet warm indoors. Outdoors you may need double up if it’s really cold outside.

I received these cast socks & they are fantastic! I have Lymphedema of lower limbs & wear night wraps, a heavy quilted boot at night. However, they slide around on tile or laminate floors when getting up at night. Because these cast socks have great grippers, there is no way I will slip & fall. Finally! The strap keeps them in place. I have attempted to find solutions to this problem for nearly 2 years including molded cast shoes (clunky & uncomfortable, cast toe cap covers (too short & no tread), boot covers for construction workers (too wide, step on cover on opposite foot & trip). These are PERFECT! Do not hesitate to purchase if you are a Lymphedema patient & trying to stay on your feet! Price is right & so comfortable.

The product itself is great, but I don’t think I had to buy it. The night I fractured my ankle in three places, I couldn’t sleep so I went on an Amazon buying spree for all the things I’d need during my recovery. Considering the break happened during Chicago winter, I knew my ties would need some warmth and these do do that. However, I’ve gotten a lot of use out of everything except these because I didn’t leave the house very often while recovering in my cast. If you will be leaving your home often, then these will be very helpful! I did find an alternative use for one of these to hold padding in place to get my knee on the right level with my boot and hands free crutch. I stuck some folded up padding inside the cover and used the strap to go around the outside of the frame so it doesn’t fall off while not in use. This has worked great and made me feel like they weren’t a waste of money because I’m getting more use out of them, just not as intended.

These came in a pair which was great, but they are a little short for my feet and they pick up a lot of debris on the ground and are not water resistant. They are easy to get on and off. I prefer a different brand that I bought.

Fit perfect, it gave my son who’s 12 more confidence to have this special cast cover. Very comfy and easy to put on. It was light weight so his foot didn’t overheat like it did with a regular fluffy sock. Not many things fit over casts so this was a great purchase ! You need to protect your toes from being stubbed while crutching so this did the job.

These have been a life saver for my winter foot cast. Keeps my toes warm, easy to out on and comfy. The inside seem at the ties does sometimes irritate me but it's not a huge deal. Would recommend!
