Good buggy. Just upgrade skid plate
Love the bandit but the skid plate will take major abuse. Definitely upgrade that right away. Other than that. Very snappy brushed buggy. Its now brushless with aluminum ski plate. No issues since.

It was strong out of the box and still is strong even a 1-2 weeks almost to a month of use

Does NOT come with USB charging cable! Parents be aware!
Great little R/C car and typical top notch Traxxas quality. However if it's a present, and you're buying this for Christmas morning (like I did), note that it does NOT come with a cable for the battery charger. Just the converter brick. No plug, no cable. The instructions even say to use "any cable you have" or something like that. This was a $200+ investment and for that price it REALLY should have come with the ability to actually charge the brick. As parents we don't expect the remotes and such to come with batteries (this also doesn't) but at this price point I absolutely expected it to include a charging cable. I was fortunate enough to have one laying around but if you don't, as a heads up this does NOT come with one.Additionally, the charging pack will NOT charge off of a laptop or a computer (or any generic connected USB device). It needs to be plugged into a wall. I couldn't daisy chain the USB-C cable off of my laptop, so in addition to the cable I also needed a USB-C to 110v (wall plug) adapter. Which my $200+ R/C car did not come with.I was able to scrounge around and save Christmas morning but shame on Traxxas for being ultra cheap and not including a means to charge the pack. I've bought $10 items off of here that come with cables, at $200 there is no excuse not to include it.
