Over Board 20 Litre Pro-Light Backpack - AW19

This is a great waterproof duffle bag backpack. Keeps everything dry from rain. I have not tried submerging it underwater but I have dropped it into the water several times and it has kept the contents of my bag very dry. This version has a meshed zipper pocket that I use to hold and secure my 4 piece fly rod onto it. This backpack was made for light travel, day trips, and was not meant to pack and carry large loads. Only draw back is, it only has one internal pocket. Unlike a regular backpack, which has a lot of dividers in it, this back pack has none of this. It’s basically a waterproof duffle bag with handles on it. However, for keeping gear dry, this is a great designed backpack.

It's very comfortable to use when it is raining or sunny.

Overboard customer service is terrible!!!! After just 2 years… my waterproof bag is not waterproof at all, and the inside pocket has separate from the inside of the bag. Overboard preaches a 5 year warranty and they would NOT repair the bag. They merely sent me a link to an Amazon glue kit for the interior pocket. Absurd. Completely absurd.

Even though we have not used them in the rain, both my son & I like the feel of the material of this bag.It's softer & flexible than the ususal "rubber" waterproof bags. The bag is well thought off/design for bikers.Best regards, Anis

Great backpack! Took it to the Galapagos, Ecuador, and Peru and it kept all of my items dry and clean.

Von diesem Modell von Overboard habe ich die Rucksäcke in allen Größen gekauft und bisher bin ich mit der Qualität und Bequemlichkeit sehr zufrieden. Direkt im Wasser habe ich den nicht getestet. Ich benutze den Rucksack aber gerne am Strand, bei Regen, mit dem Fahrrad zum Einkaufen gehen und der ist immer noch wie neu. Es lohnt sich ein bischen mehr für Qualität zu bezahlen.

So, I do a lot of fieldwork in varied terrains during the summer months but I'm based in the city in winter. I wanted this bag to be a bit of a Swiss army knife and stand up to the daily punishment of my commute as well as any outdoors conditions I throw at it. It's been a couple of months now I must say, I'm really impressed. The bag is tough as anything - have stuffed it a few times and it has held together beautifully. The material doesn't invite dirt and when it does get a bit marked it is very easy to clean. The 20L model is plenty big enough for my 11 inch laptop, a 2.5L water bottle and several books. One of the best things is how comfortable it is to wear. I have done hours of walking with it and usually my back and/or shoulders start to complain, but nothing with this. Haven't trekked with it yet but looking forward to using the bladder feature. Haven't chucked it in a lake either, but it has faced some serious downpours and everything comes out bone-dry afterwards. Great buy, highly recommended.

Donde vivo llueve bastante y he comprobado los días que llueve muchísimo no se me ha mojado absolutamente nada del interior. Por eso la compré y ha cumplido su cometido de sobra. La compré hace cosa de dos años y usándola muy a menudo he de decir que está como nueva.

Item arrived brand new and in original packaging ahead of forecast delivery date and was sold at a good price.Unfortunately one of the clips was broken upon opening of packaging, the broken piece of the clip was not in the packaging though which is strange so it was obviously packed by Overboard in a broken condition.With the broken clip it is impossible to secure the closure on one side and having a watertight, waterproof bag is the exact reason I chose this brand and model.I would request the seller to propose a solution how to fix it as the clip which is broken is stitched in to the strap and thank them advance for their comments.

Bought it’s for water adventures and for travel (fits cabin size bags even with Ryanair). Good , comfort
