This book is amazing! The recipes are very well thought out and with practice, easy to follow! I can't wait to make his more complex desserts!

So many interesting things and ideas in this book. If you are looking for new ideas and technics for your baking I suggest this book.

Great cook book

It has great instructions but not flavors my kids would even try... Some items not sure you could get where I live. but it is well written.

Fantastic recipes! My macarons came out beautifully

So, I was excited because part of the selling point for this book was that there were pictures for all of the recipes and that's not true. There are some good photos for some of the base recipes but not all. I was hoping/ thinking this would be similar to jialin tian's cookbooks choux temptations where there are step by step photos showing you how to put it together. I don't necessarily agree with some of the previous reviews where they said there were too many steps or layers in the desserts (Adriano's recipes are very intricate, that's the nature of what he makes and what makes his stuff so amazing). Instead this book could be greatly improved by having photo guides to help take out some of the confusion some may have about how to put them together. My other thing is that make sure you're okay and comfortable with a lot of the basics, in terms of techniques and methods. Overall I like this book I think its very inspiring, so if you're looking for some fun inspiration and ideas this would be a good choice. If you're just getting into baking or French style pastries and need techniques this shouldn't be your first purchase.

Amazing book - bought this for a colleague at work, who loves a challenge. He's tried a few of the recipes and it hasn't failed to impress. The ingredients and methods are great for testing your skills. Definitely recommend for anyone who loves baking and wants to take themselves out of their comfort zone!
