The packaging was easy to get into. I didn’t have to saw through the packaging like other companies. There were two screwdrivers and plastic tool included in case you would need to use them. They also provided a link on the packaging to access a video that provided “how to” instructions specific to my item I needed to replace the batteries.

Standard batteries for FOB. Performance of FOB after replacing existing battery with these was good. I didn't notice an increase or decrease in range. I've been using these for awhile now and lifespan seems to not be an issue.

These are standard 2032 button batteries used in many auto key-fobs, but marketed for specific make and model key fobs so you know you're getting the correct battery type. I got the 2018-2021 Discovery/Defender battery for my 2019 Discovery and it worked as expected. A set of mini screwdrivers were included to help with the replacement, which came in handy opening up my particular fob.
