Good design, but harder to clean than I would like.
A really well designed pan except that the brushed steel inner finish means debris holds even after just cooking pasta. Otherwise a perfect balance of weight, shape, resilience and functionality. If the bit of leather offends then just cut it off. 1L MSR stowaway fits inside if you remove the handle first. Together this combination copes with cooking for 3 to 4.

Solid, versatile campfire billy can but won't nest with the 5 Litre version?
I have recently bought the small Campfire cook set and the separate 3 litre billy can to augment our old Trangia, even older dutch oven and car camping gas stove set up. We are a family of 5 and cook at home on a wood burning range in the winter and a Rocket stove combined with a Kelly Kettle outdoors in the summer. This billy will be used in all situations indoor and out, including a campfire on occasion. It is a pretty solid item. Thicker than many camping pots but thinner than regular kitchen kit. It doesn't have a completely flat bottom or an aluminium base which reduces direct contact on the range but still heats up well enough. This is not a problem at all on any other type of stove. The well fitting lid with strainer should help to keep wood smoke out of the pan. All in all I expect it to last years of intensive use. My only issue with it is that I think it is the same max diameter as the 5 Litre campfire billy at 19.8cm and so they won't nest together with the rest of the set. I may look to a different manufacturer for a larger billy.
