The Lost Boys [4K Ultra HD] [1987]

One of my fave films when younger, vampire galore, kiefer sutherland is slick as david the head vampire or so we are led to believe hes the head but a good twist with the head of them actually being max who tries to win the affections of michael and his family, the movie starts with the family moving to live with granpa there michael meets star who is half vampire and that is the introduction to the gang led by david, meanwhile sam comic book fan befriends 2 others in the comic book store and their mum ends up working for max who she starts to date to cut a long story short max wants mum and boys to join his family but of course that does not happen enter the frog brothers and sam who help rid santa carla of the vampire clan, it's a very enjoyable film.

This is possibly the greatest vampire movie ever made, if you haven't seen it you must! It's funny, scary, cool, action packed and you even grow to like the vampires! I received a new copy on VHS today and it is in mint condition and arrived more or less straight away. I was really impressed. Thank you.

I may have come a bit late to the party with this film but that does not mean I appreciate it any less. A thoroughly enjoyable film (even if somewhat dated in its look). A good chance for fans of 24 to see a very young Kiefer.

Watched with family and we all found this entertaining and funny.Rated 15, but could watch with a younger audience.Some bad language and a non-gratuitous sex scene.

I loved this movie as a teenager so i went and purchased it and I have to say that I am really happy with my purchase.

Already knew the movie was a classic, Blu Ray version has many of the special features from the previous specialedition DVD but at the price Im happy to have the film looking and sounding so good.

Absolutely great dvd, love the movie and loved the special features on the second disc. Came on time and was safely packaged. Cannot fault this dvd.

Ottimo film rimasterizzato e restaurato a regola d'arte........se devo trovare un difetto; dico che mi sarebbe piaciuto l'audio 5.1 anche...nel doppiaggio in Italiano......ma per il resto ragazzi un film del 1987 che gira in Full HD 1080p è un marchio di fabbrica....Bellissimo il miglior film sui vampiri........

Officieel ontwikkelt het verhaal zich als een procedureel mysterie, maar dat valt zelden op, ook omdat de invalshoek anders is. Er is zeer veel tijd besteed aan de sets, kostuums, vormgeving en het vinden van de juiste shots. De film is over het algemeen een lust voor het oog om te zien.Qua verhaalontwikkeling is het wel duidelijk Hollywood, met name dat een karakter een fout maakt en deze weer recht gezet moet worden. De atmosfeer van de film richt zich er ook op dat er sterren op het toneel staan en dat iedereen dat fantastisch vindt.Dat zijn met name het type dingen waardoor het verhaal los lijkt te staan van de werkelijkheid, ironisch genoeg dus niet het feit dat het om vampiers draait, want die zien er heel echt uit. Wel een van de betere Hollywood horror-films met de bekende plot-twist aan het einde.
