This little machine is like a magic eraser for your dogs teeth. In seconds, all the built up ick is zapped away. Its completely painless (and I know this because I tried it on my own teeth before touching it to those of my fur babies) but it does make a very weird noise. It's akin to a bug zapper in your mouth. None of my 4 dogs likes it but one will allow it, one will tolerate it (but I work up a sweat fighting him) and the other 2 turn into lions when I even pull it out. If you have a calm dog who tolerates the noise of clippers and the sensation of teeth brushing, I would think you have a pretty decent shot at success. If you are able to use this, the price of the device will ensure you never had to pay for a $600+ dental procedure for your dog.

Amazing device, powers through thick nasty plaque build up. My pups gums should be able to properly heal and tooth brushing will be much more effective now that all the tartar is gone. When its on it only makes noise when it's breaking up the plaque. Really impressed by this tool, and as long as your dog isn't easily scared you should be able to lay them upside down on a pillow and clean.

I had to do it in short periods because my dog is very playful, and he obviously didn’t like it. However, it’s great for cleaning and removes plaque in seconds—definitely a great tool!

I had ordered this as I read the description and saw that it was an ultrasonic tooth cleaner for dogs, and included many parts. Was hoping it would be with a toothbrush head, but a regular dog toothbrush was included. The device doesn't work or make a sound until you press it into something hard (like a tooth) but you can press it onto something to practice with before touching it to a tooth. When it does make noise it is cringeworthy, and I'm not certain most people should be using this on their dogs teeth, as it could have the potential to damage enamel.

My girl, Penny, is terrified of just about everything, but she let me do this! A few flinches here and there from the sound but no screaming! She's only two and the vet says she's got a lot of plaque for a young dog. The cleaning at the vet is stupid expensive. Yay for this tool!
