Excellent portable pour over kit…no standing around pouring it yourself!
I have a few pour-over accessories, but this is the first I’ve owned that has an auto-drip feature and I LOVE it. I can’t believe I was standing around and pouring the hot water myself, over and over, until now. With this GoodCook Koffē Auto Drip Pourover kit, the clear top in the photo is where you place the water and it has two great features:small holes that let the water drip slowly, to properly give the grounds enough time to release flavor into the hot water andmeasuring lines so you know exactly how much water your putting through the grounds, from 8-16 ouncesI’ve used mine with a mug, a travel thermos and a large carafe. All worked great.I like my coffee dark, so I was worried the water would go through too quickly, but as long as I put in enough grounds and don’t grind them overly fine, I get a great cup of coffee every time.It comes with a few starter filters of the cone variety, but I was also able to use basket style filters too—no issues. 👍

Solid Pourover Dripper
This is a relatively straightforward item. There's two (2) parts:1. Drip cone2. Water reservoirDrip cone is huge. It's solid. A #2 filter disappears in the cone, I assume so it doesn't interfere with the reservoir bottom. But it's huge.Water reservoir is interesting. I'd probably want to start with 100C water and just let it run through, since it will undoubtedly cool and I prefer brewing at about 96C. But if you weigh everything out, then there's extra steps/pieces to juggle and it's a bit much for a simple process.Ok, so yes, it makes a decent cuppa. But the bad is that using the reservoir doesn't give coffee a proper bloom. If you grind relatively fresh beans immediately before brewing, then you'll get lots of gas and bloom and the bottom of the reservoir gets dirty/fouled (mine did everyday for a week). I made 36g of coffee each time, so well-within the acceptable range. So, TLDR, this is an interesting device. Works fine as a dripper, but it's huge. Works fine as intended, but you may need to watch like a hawk and add water sparingly and often.

Works well, auto-dripper works
This #2 pourover dripper is larger than average. It kinda caught me by surprise seeing this. This is a positive if you want to make 16oz (2 cups) of coffee in one go, but a slight negative if you want something more compact as a dedicated solo cup maker. The base of this is about 11cm and should be large enough to fit the large majority of mugs.I tried using the auto dripper, and it worked reasonably well. They recommend a medium-fine grind, similar to what you'd use in a drip coffee maker. I do like the ease and consistency of the autodripper. It also works fine as a regular pourover with the top removed.Ergonomically this was easy to use. Filling the top with hot water does look a little precarious, but it's been stable. 8oz drains fairly quick too. I personally wouldn't fill 16oz at a time. I would probably fill 8oz twice instead. I wish the handle was larger, but it's ok.Also, plastic is fine for pourovers. Boiling water hits a max of only 100C, which is very much within the safe range for most plastics.

Very easy to use
This is a great tool if you want to try pour over coffee at home, and don't know what you're doing. I'm not a coffee expert or coffee snob by any means, so this made everything super easy for me to make delicious coffee. I like that it came with some filters included as well. The material is thick and high quality too, making me feel like it will hold up to a lot of wear and tear and last a while.

Plastic, handwashing recommended, coffee can overflow
For $12, this is an OK price for something we'll mostly keep in the cupboard until a guest wants a pour-over coffee. I am concerned about what might leach out of the plastic when in contact with hot water with regular use. The company does not allay any fears about this concern on the packaging. And the top part just sits on the bottom without any kind of seal. If the coffee does not go through the filter quickly enough, hot water spills out the sides. If you drink this kind of coffee regularly, put your $12 towards something better made out of stainless steel or glass. My rating system:5 Stars = Knocks it out of the park. A great value!4 Stars = Excellent product. A solid buy.3 Stars = It provides some value, but perhaps not as advertised.2 Stars = A little dubious, so do your research. Read the critical reviews!1 Star = Avoid this product and look elsewhere.
