ASICSMen's Gel-Kayano 31 Running Shoes

I have previously ( 5+ years ago ) ran competitively.(6min/mile roughly depending on distance ), at that time I used the model of shoe for longer runs and a lighter asics shoe for races . I have recently resumed running (VERRY lol)casually and was skeptical of the LARGE HEEL of this model as they did not have large heels previously . I took them for a spin earlier today and my skepticism might turn into a preference at what I would call slower (9min/mi current cry)pace.VERRY supportive and I think this model of shoe although expensive has saved me money on medical expenses that may have occurred in other shoes . Thanks asics for maintaining a great quality model of running shoes for many years that is the gel kayano .

My son requested ASICS because they are wider than the normal shoes. He was able to run 1-2 miles easily. His legs weren’t sore and he said the cushioning in the shoes were perfect. He likes the wider shoe and said it isn’t tight. He likes the bright color.

The shoes arrived in a timely manner packaged so no damage could occur during shipping. The shoes were a great fit and comfortable while running. The quality is great. I would recommend this shoe and the seller.

I like these much better than the 28 and 29. seems like more cushion and overall just more comfortable.

Just got the shoes, the fit is good and sizing is accurate (I normally wear New Balance 11.5 2E and the fit matches), I might expand this review after prolonged use.But there is an important warning right off the bat: the photo of the model I ordered is inaccurate; the Cool Matcha I chose looks more subdued and elegant on the photo, with less saturated green and light gray soles. In reality, it is a garish fluorescent green with pure white soles. They look quite awful in real life. I am a product photographer by trade and can safely say whoever took the photos, did a very poor job.

My husband loves this sneaker. He’s tried many other popular brands such as Brooks and Hoka, and loves these the most. No knee or back pain and they look great too. They hold up well

Worth every penny. Have had spinal fusion, and both hips replaced. So, I know pain. These are honestly the best pair of shoes I've ever bought. Pain levels that accompany me on every daily walk dramatically decreased. Like walking on a supportive cloud. I'm going to keep a log of my walking distance, and gather more information on how long these shoes hold up. The price is expensive, and I need to justify the expense. I'll try and remember to update my review in 6 months

I bought the Asics Kanayo shoes to have in rotation with Novablast 5. I have a left foot over pronation issue and the Kayanos definitely stop the pronation issues. They are firmer and more controlled than the novablasts and a little slower but all around a very nice alternative and I will probably use them for longer runs like half marathons. Size 10 fit true.
