GREAT Quality…Zippers and All
Update: Amazon sent me the wrong product to review. My original review was for a different brand of pant. THESE pants are GREAT!! Everything about them is good! Great material, pockets and zippers. Nothing wrong with them. If I were to buy them again, I would probably go with a size smaller in the waist. The length is perfect.

They still look nice…
So they are still looking as good as they did those many years back when I discovered this brand. They reminded me of my service pants. But I they had many other colors and styles.I don’t enjoy the cargo pants so much for everyday wear. I like a straight fit. I get compliments on how crisp and nice they look. I don’t like baggy or tight. But fitted with a. Little room to breath. That hardest part these days is consistency.I compare them to my older pants for size ( both new and old are size 34) but the new ones ( I got several pairs) when compared side by side are all different sized. And compare them to the old ones a bit smaller. This could be do to stretching affect, which I hope does accrue to the new ones to make them more comfortable. But each pair of new pants are slightly different in waist size and leg length. So to say the least, consistency is a problem. That and the hardest thing is to find the ones I like. Either the size is out of stock most of the year or the colors and style are.But I try to buy several pairs to last me.If you like them like I do, then you keep looking for them, like I do. Just wish they would keep them in stock more often. And a few more color variations would be nice.5 stars would be given if they would be more consistent in the ruler they use.Update: after washing them and wearing them, they fit comfortably and I’m thankful for that. My wife complimented them, thought the Jean style looked nice. I haven’t worn jeans in a long time since finding ones that fit as nice as the CQR so was hard. So when I saw them in CQR I got them. Perfect.

Nice!
I didn't know what to think at first. I have lots of CQR clothing. I am talk and thin and I like the way they fit. They also wear exceptional well. I have pants over 5 years old that I still wear (on the farm). These are a straight leg sapper work pant, relaxed fit, woodland cammo. These are going to be my favorites! Many pockets, some divided for tools, flashlight, pencils and such. A to small phone pocket. I wish it was large enough for a 3x5 writing pad. And a hatchet loop. The right hand pocket has a leather like reinforced corner. I assume that's for a tape rule, however I have clips on my power tools so I can hang them on my pockets while climbing ladders. These are nice. The material is light but will not fail. They keep their appearance well, and being camo, should hide small stains. Yes my new favorite.I just wrote a review on another style of CQR pant that is not masculine in the slightest. I mention this as their reviews get bunched together. This review is on the sapper tactical work pant.

Awkward
I was so happy with these pants.. for 4 seconds while I pulled them on. Then they reached my waist. Suddenly I got an image of a small bullied child giving a large bully a wedgie. Not painful, just very uncomfortable in (sadly) one specific area. Please, someone involved in the design or manufacturing of these pants, explain why the rear center seam is sewn to rest inside of the wearer’s cra… something. I want to be sure to convey that I think these are good quality and very, very close to great, but unfortunately unwearable with a seam inserted inside of my a… never mind, you probably get it by now.

Great Work Pants
Finally some decent "whites". I really love these pants and have found them to be really comfortable. I am a paint contractor that still believes in wearing whites, and they have been increasingly hard to find. Carhartt discontinued white altogether, Stan Ray is gone, Dickies are cheap crap, Duluth Trading also no white anymore...so here we are. As I'm writing this I am about to order a couple more pairs.
