Cat Water Fountain Stainless Steel Lid, 3L/101oz Pet Water Fountain, Dog Waterer with Quiet Pump and 4-Layer Filtration

This is the water fountain PERFECTED. I made the huge, dangerous and stupid mistake of stop using a fountain for my cats. I hated cleaning it! I hated how long it took each week to tear the motor apart, how much water it took which was a ton to clean, how much it hurt my hands which are slightly arthritic but I did it for Years. I finally stopped, bought a big bowl to avoid whisker distress, cleaned the bowl every day, replenished it every day and refreshed it during the day. My little girl didn't like it. I didn't realize how little she didn't like it over the last year when I had to run her to the emergency vet with a UTI which turned out to not be too horrible because that cleared up nicely but the doc found something else but that something else may have been caught early so maybe me getting rid of the annoying cat water fountain was a good thing and giving my cat a UTI was a good thing??? Anyway. The next day, I did as suggest by the vet and bought another fountain- this one. It is amazing!!! It RECOMMENDS NOT TO TAKE THE MOTOR APART TO CLEAN IT!! It is quiet, easy to clean, has the nice stainless steel parts. It's is truly the most perfect design out there.

I purchased the stainless-steel version of the VIVIDORAMA Pet Water Fountain. The fountain is very easy to assemble, use, maintain, and clean.The package contains a water basin, a recessed lid, a spout, a pump, a filter, a white USB power cord, and a white outlet adapter. The basin is 4.5” tall, 8” in diameter, and weighs about 1-2 pounds (add 5.2 pounds for the water when filled). I measured the basin’s capacity at 80 FL Oz. (or 2.5 quarts or 5/8 gallons). The power cord has a useful length of 54” when inserted into the basin onto the pump.The basin, lid, and spout are all stainless steel and look very nice. The spout stands about 3.5” above the lid when fully inserted (putting the total height at around 8 inches). There is a built-in window on the front of the basin to monitor the water level. The lid is recessed to accommodate the water flow and not spill over the edges. The lid has a gasket lined water return hole in the top. The lid provides a gasket seal mount for the water spout. I have not seen any splashing of water outside the fountain from the pump with or without the spout inserted.I cannot comment on the technical details of the filtration system or the pump. They work fine. My only advice would be to use water from a home filtering system to provide really clean water to the fountain basin. The product claims a quiet pump with a noise level of 23 decibels. Is 23 dB quiet? From the internet:Decibels (dB)10 Normal breathing.20 Whispering from five feet away.30 Whispering nearby.40 Quiet library sounds.I can confirm that it fits within the 10 – 30 dB levels easily. I can only hear it when I am standing very close to the unit and in nearly total silence. If there is any background noise/sound, I cannot hear it at all.I run it without the spout because my cat didn’t like the stream of water. It took about 1-2 weeks for her to get used to the fountain. She uses it all the time now. Instead of a thin stream of water (without the spout), the water just burbles up in a mini fountain of water (less than ½” tall).I highly recommend this product if you have pets. So far, I have found nothing wrong with it. It may be a tad small for big pets like big dogs.

I absolutely love this water fountain. I have had it for over a month it is so quiet and my cat loves it. I had a previous one where the motor burned and was very loud, this one is so amazing. My cat had no problem adjusting and she drinks from jt often. I couldn’t have gotten a better one to replace my old one with. It has no light function which I wish it had but other than that I love it so much.

I’ve been using this for about a month and it’s working well and seems like it will last a long time. I have one cat and she seems to like it. With only one cat it lasts a long time before needing to be filled, up to a couple weeks. I add a couple water purification drops (chlorine dioxide, like AquaMira) when filling it and it seems like it helps keep the water fresher longer. With just one cat, I suspect it might get a little slimy before it needs to be filled. Of course you could clean it out every week, if that’s possible for you. Otherwise, the drops are helpful if I let it go a bit longer.

We have had this cat fountain for several months now. My cat is very pleased with his personal fountain. I really like that my cat is unable to knock it over or tip it (he likes to play with his water). It is very easy to assemble and disassemble, as well as to clean. It is also very easy to fill. The noise level is almost silent (unless it needs to be filled, in which case it kind of burbles), which I like. I had another fountain previously, but one of the pieces became permanently stuck in position and grew algae, so I bought this one. It does have a few drawbacks though. The bowl is a very dark plastic, which even with the pump light, makes it impossible to see the water level. We live in a very dry climate, so we have to refill the water pretty frequently. We also have very hard water (even after a whole-house filtration system), so the filters have to be replaced insanely frequently. Overall, my cat and I really like the fountain.

This water fountain is great. It is perfect for my 6 cats. Especially the ones that love to drink from faucets. My male cats also both would paw at their old fountain and spill it. They drink from this one without feeling the need to add more movement to the water so it has stayed put since filling. It is also super quiet and the 3 liter capacity lasts all day. Highly recommend purchasing this if you're looking for a new fountain for your fur babies.

The product is very quiet and the volume of water it holds is perfect for my 1 dog and 2 cats. My one cat is older and had a little trouble seeing the water bowl. Now, with the running water she had no problem quenching her thirst. Also, it is at the perfect height for my two cats and medium size dog to drink from. Product is very easy to clean and assemble. I would recommend trying this out and seeing how your pets like it.
