When I first got them I was a little disappointed in them. They looked very small and shorter compared to the original ones I got from the camper store. But to my surprise they worked very good. Very strong with very good pressure as you put the windows down. How long will they last and stay strong. Your guess is as good as mine. If you have money I would get the originals but if you are cheap like me and don't have a lot of money laying around. Then get these. They work.

Replaced the weak struts supporting the door on my RV's basement storage area. Before ordering, simply measure the lifting lbs, and the "open"/"closed" lengths of your original struts. These easily snap onto your existing ball joint mounts.

The relief! No longer do I need to keep a hand over my head when I lift the door to my truck canopy. These arms definitely hold it solidly, and actually help open the back window. The hardest part was figuring out the number of the right one. Fortunately it was clearly marked on one of the old arms. Installation took about five minutes for both sides!
