RMS Beauty ReDimension Hydra Bronzer 6.5g Tan Lines

This is a really pretty bronzer on my fair skin. As I’m approaching 40 I find a lot of highlight/glitter doesn’t look good on me and brings out wrinkles. But this bronzer has a perfect amount of glow without looking glittery. It works well on top of the IT cosmetics foundation that I wear. It doesn’t remove the foundation or look patchy at all. I’ll be wearing this all summer long

I am a medium skin color with golden/olive undertones. After much debate i decided to go with the color “tan lines” as i thought it would fit me best. I honestly cannot see much color pay off when doing my bronzer. It is said to be buildable but ya girl be building and there is very little difference when it comes to showing up on my skin tone. It does give a hint of sheen to my skin but no bronzy effect or look which is super disappointing. I’ve tried other products from this brand (concealer and hydra powder blush) which I loved but I am not impressed by this bronzer. I love the clean ingredients and the packaging is convenient but the product itself does not do much for my complexion and it barely even shows up. Probably better for lighter skin tones.

Tan lines is a nice sheer, neutral color for my fair/light, cool olive skintone. It blends out just beautifully. However, it’s so, SOOOO shimmery, that I’m only able to use it lightly on the high points of my face, on top of another matte cream bronzer. It’s shimmery like a highlighter. Initially, while I was still experimenting, I tried applying 2-3 layers and I liked the color I achieved, but it looked like pure glitter all over my cheeks and nose in sunlight. Not good at my age. I would love to see a less glittery version in this same tan lines shade.

Texture is lovely. The color gave off a lot of reddish tones, that did not work for me.Additionally, this is a pricy product.

After applying this three or four times, I could barely see a change. I had ordered it in tan lines because I am light skinned. I thought that maybe I had not removed the plastic covering and rubbed my finger against the makeup. It was the lightest shimmering color so I knew I had applied the bronzer. I am not sure why I am not getting that bronzed look I wanted, but I am not. I think it was nicely packaged and a beautiful color. It is not worth $35 due to the fact it makes no difference to my face. I am sure it works for others, it must be me and a few others.
