This stuff is pretty cool does a great job of blocking sunlight or prying eyes practically no light gets through it is super simple to put on and sticks extremely well once installed it's awesome that it can be cut to any size window and I was even able to use it on rounded windows if you're looking for privacy or to reduce sunlight this is a great option although it does absorb a lot of heat from the Sun and will make whatever is behind the glass a ton of warmer

This was difficult to put up with just one person....
I only took off one star because I did not have anyone to help me and I eventually gave up but that was not the products's issue, it arrived exactly as described. I just couldn't get the film on smoothly by myself. So, that said , unless you have a helper or are a pro at installing this,..... I would pass on it.

Blocks the sun with ease
I'll start out by noting the instructions suggest you use a squeegee or similar device to get the best results, so make sure you have one. I didn't, and while I still got a mostly-flat surface, a squeegee or a book or something probably would have made it better. The grid could be made into smaller increments to help fit a wider variety of windows, but the instructions do suggest you leave some extra room on each side so it's not too big an issue.Outside me not having proper tools, it was pretty easy to install the privacy film onto my window without any help. It blocks 100% of the sun from what I have noticed, which is perfect for someone like me who works the night shift. If you ever want to remove it, it's damage free and easier than peeling a sticker off, well anything. You can also re-use the film if you keep it in good condition when removing it.

Easy to install, works great
We had a window in our basement that faced our neighbor's house and we wanted a some privacy so no one could see the items we have in storage. This film is the perfect solution. This was very easy to install and there are guidelines on the back to help you make sure you cut straight. The front is almost textured. When this is installed you can't see in or out and you have complete privacy. If you decide you don't want to keep it up, since it is basically just held with static, you just peel it off, but if you want it to stay up it will be there until you remove it.This would be great if you are moving and you don't want people looking in your windows to know no one is there or if you work the night shift and don't want any light in your windows but also don't want to deal with blinds or curtains that attract dust.

Two Way Blocking Window Privacy Film
_In our kitchen there's a small window in full sun for half of the day, but also exposed to a nosey neighbor. The "Gorilla Grip_Gorilla Guard Two Way Sun Blocking Window Privacy Film, Strong Static Clings to Glass Windows, Peel and Stick, Removable No Residue Stickers, Decorative Bathroom Door Coverings 17.5" x 78.7”, Black (17.5" x 78.7", Black)" will help mitigated. We cut to size, dry fit, clean, spray a lot, lot solution of 30% dish soap 70% water. Peel the backing, line up with top of window, a few strips of painter tape will keep the film from get away, slide down. Thus allow you to peel the backing off, squeeze the water out. A small squeeze, start from center outward, spray more solution to make sure the window have plenty of soapy solution. Once done, it took about 24 hours to completely dry. The effect is very good, we are unable to see out however, from the outside even at night with the light on we not able to see inside. During the day we still get some light similar to a filter light not bright. We will see how long the film will last_
