Clear to read and very audible chime
These timers have clear digits and are very useful for timing things. You get four different colours to prevent confusion if you are timing lots of things at once. They do need one AAA battery to work; however, they are extremely low-powered, and I have mine currently powered by batteries that were otherwise dead, which I pulled out of my battery bin.

Works but is annoying to use.
As a timer, it does what it needs to.However, the magnet is too weak so it slides around or falls off the appliance. There is a slide switch for powering on and off. Means that the battery lasts longer but if you forget to turn it off the battery dies in a few days. Also, there's no way of adding a large amount of time to the timer other than repeatedly pressing the buttons. E.g. no way to add 5min or 30sec at a time.
