I had been looking for a bread box that fits our bread and this fit the bill. I had originally thought that I would need two, but one was plenty. I can also see myself using this for other foods. The latch system is well made and I like that you can divide it into two different compartments.

I started making bread recently and needed bread boxes to keep them fresh since homemade bread without preservatives tend to only last a few days due to mold or drying out. These keep them away from too much air and the mold that can settle on it. I usually get a couple more days for the bread but its usually consumed before that. The only issue I have had with it is the day reminder on the lid falls out and will not stay in place, other than that its been a great bread box.

When I ordered this item, my husband was excited to get a new bread knife. He worked in a hospital kitchen for years and really likes good knives. He also thought that the container would be excellent for our kitchen counter. We've had to keep bread in the fridge to keep the rescue cats from getting into the bread when we're not around.The container is great! It will be easy to clean and to see inside. I'm not fond of the clips that hold it shut, but we'll see how they hold up to daily use. The divider baskets are great if you're storing fruit or washing fruit to store in this.The knife is a disappointment. It isn't bad - it is just "basic". (As I type this, I realize I need to look for a good knife or knife set for my husband!).The slicing guide is ok. It seems flimsy to me, but I didn't buy it for that.Would I buy this again? Maybe...but maybe not. I'm not that impressed.Would I gift this to someone? No. I think I'd look at other options.

Keeps bagels fresh

This breadbox is perfect for holding my home-baked breads and rolls. The capacity is larger than most similar products and the inserts allow me to customize the storage areas to keep things separated inside. The seals are airtight which is a huge plus for extending the shelf life of home-baked goods.The knife and the bread-cutting frame are basic. They are usable but nothing to rave about.

The "bread cutting template" is a complete joke, and won't even hold itself together. So, that's pretty useless. The knife is a basic knife, nothing special about it. The one part that I do like is the bread box itself. The inner basket that comes with it is rather useless as well.
