This type of clip is indispensable in the kitchen. These seem like pretty good ones. They work!

I got these in the hopes they'd be better than others we've been using for years, but more importantly because I find the longer ones easier to deal with than the shorter ones. If you are going to close up small bags or bags with lots of free space and a small opening, a small one can work. However, we mostly use these for stuff in the freezer and the longer ones cope with thicker bundles of bag. That's particularly difficult for my mother who has arthritis - she isn't able to close up the short ones easily and my dad cannot help himself but use the short ones because he cannot grasp that she's struggling. We're going to solve this by making the short ones disappear into storage and only leaving out the longer ones we have and the even longer ones that came in this pack!This set includes some very long ones (I got the 40 Pcs set with the 14cm ones) which is great and would probably make them good for very large bags such as garden waste bags or full size bin bags.I also found this particular style of clip a bit easier to open than others we have. Just because the plastic of the clip itself is a little softer or more rubbery - of course that could be due to age of the ones we already have. Still, I feel these are actually good quality and suitable for most people. I think they're decent value and since others I've had have lasted decades any price difference is going to be minimal over their lifetime (unless you're truly brutal with them).
