After reading many reviews about Birkenstocks and a lot of complaints about fit/ how they are now made too narrow etc I was a little reticent in ordering these. I have wanted a pair for years, having had a pair I found on discount in my late teens and living in them for the following few years. I have wide square feet, they have some swelling due to arthritis and general foot spread after three children. I was concerned that these would not fit anymore. I am also generally a uk6. I ordered the 5.5 as the only other option is a uk 7.They fit perfectly. I only had to do the straps up half way. My heels do not overhang, there is more toe room and the width is perfect for my feet... they are not too narrow. My feet also feel supported for the first time in years, which tells me the price that put me off is what I may have to start saving for in order to have comfortable feet. It's worth it; although it has been the main reason I have not purchased them to date.I'm waiting for the weather to warm up now so I can wear them out.

I've had these for 5 years now, wearing them every summer and they are still going strong. The grip on the sole has worn down now, but apart from that they still look great and I will not be replacing for a while. Great investment

After reading reviews I wasn't sure what size to order. I am a size 5 with wide feet, I ordered a size 4 (37) and these are the perfect fit, although if they were any smaller they would be too small. I would recommend going a size down unless you are normally between 2 sizes then just order the smaller size of the 2 eg (5-6 then order a 5) (just 5 then order a 4)These sandals are super comfy and I love the basic design. Perfect for me and I will be ordering in another colour, great price too as RRP around £60.

I ordered my usual size 42, when fitted they are large than my other shoes of the same size. Tried to order a size smaller but not in stock so stuck with these. Two weeks on they are feeling comfortable but a little loose. Consider buying 1size smaller than your usual fit.

I love birkenstock they are expensive so I hoping they last a long time .

The man made material instead of leather on top

I'm a stickler for following the sizing guidance provided by Birkenstock, so I tut when I see people who buy them too small.Cannot recommend these Birkies enough. I live in them, if it were socially acceptable I'd wear socks with them in the winter.I know you can get every aspect of these replaced, but I tend to wear mine until they have truely had it. This means when I get a new pair I really notice the squishy foot bed and very sensible nature of the sandals.

So so cute! I just love them! I wasn’t sure what size to get I’m a size 7 and that is what size I got and they fit perfectly! Pair them with ur favorite pair of socks and ur all set.
