Best comfort/strength combo I've seen
Great toilet paper. I'm of the XY half of earth humans, so TP has only one use in my universe. I'll try to be discreet. I've tried many brands in search of economy, Cottenelle Ultra Comfort strikes a decent balance between utility and price.A major TP manufacturer advertises 10,000 sheets. I tried those. Way too flimsy, and required the better part of those 10,000 sheets to accomplish cleanliness. Plus, no texture to help abrade features that need to be removed. As the children's book says, everybody poops. With Cottonelle, you can use less paper. Partly from their nice thickness, and partly from their texture. The thickness allows even a slim folding to avoid absorbing all the way to the layer next to your fingers. The texture allows fewer applications.

Great toilet paper, confusing size information
I liked the toilet paper. I realize today that I was not educated about toilet paper sizing. It includes but is not limited to:Regular - around 70 sheetsBig - 136 sheets (Cottonelle 138)Double - 142 sheets (this one) or 164 with Northern, Cottonelle =170Family 224 CottonelleGiantHugeMega (Charmin 280, Angelsoft 480)Super-Mega (Charmin 426, Cottonelle 340)Mega PlusForever- Lasts a month and requires its own stand. Not recommended for cat and kitten owners. That said, I am not sure if I got true double, or if I got what is pictured in the 5th photo in this ad, which is NOT a double size pack. It's been a while. If anyone got their recently, maybe let us know.Who knew the industry was like women's clothing when it comes to sizing: all over the place!?

THESE ARE STANDARD DOUBLE ROLLS!
The first thing I would like to point out for everybody saying this is a rip-off and they are tinier than normal, is that these are standard DOUBLE sized rolls, the EXACT SAME as the Cottenelle DOUBLE sized rolls I have bought at both the red big box store and it's slummier mart competitor. Not triple rolls, not quadruple rolls, not quintuplet rolls, and certainly not the ginormous "lasts-you-6-month-roll-complete-with-it's-own-stand" that c***min just put out! That's a real thing by the way and it's ridiculous. The double rolls are the largest roll of toilet paper the standard toilet paper roll holders I have installed in both my bathrooms will hold and still roll normally. Maybe changing the roll of toilet paper is such a difficult, tedious chore for some people that they need to have the largest size toilet paper rolls they can get their hands on in their bathroom, but I do not like having to have a roll of toilet paper sitting on the counter, floor, or the back of the toilet until it is small enough to fit on the roll holder that is installed for the purpose of holding the toilet paper. It's tacky. So I am incredibly grateful that Amazon still carries the DOUBLE rolls because they are getting harder and harder to find unless I want to change to a cheaper, and much inferior, toilet paper. To reiterate, I compared one of these unused rolls to an unused Cottonelle DOUBLE roll I had previously purchased at the red big box store and it was EXACTLY the SAME SIZE - THESE ARE STANDARD COTTENELLE DOUBLE ROLLS, NOT SMALLER, NOT THINNER, BUT THE SAME AS THOSE SOLD IN BRICK AND MORTAR STORES!!!

and that is a super important factor to me
The tissue is soft! and that is a super important factor to me. Soft and very absorbent. So truthfully, I use less of this tissue than of other brands. So now that we've gotten the "effectiveness" of the product covered, we can talk about some other features. According to the package, there are 203 sheets per roll. 36 rolls will yield 770 feet per package. That's decent, but I'm not certain if it's the best deal available. I have actually found a brand that is as, if not more soft AND the value per package is MUCH better. The pkg. has 1593. sq feet for 14.99 I don't have to do the math for you - you get 52% more product for 68% LESS money. DEAL, BABY! So, i guess this is to say, I'm switching. This product I like very much, but as demonstrated, I can do better (the brand I'm comparing is Aldi's Willow PREMIUM brand - some people don't like store brands, and I say more power to you, but as long as the quality is there, I don't care whose name is on the label) If you are more of a band name shopper (even for your bath tissue) this is a great product at a good deal - especially if you do subscribe and save!

Best toilet paper I've ever met
Had I known the world was going to crash I would have ordered more of you. Had I known that last roll would be my last roll I would have cherished you more. Had i known that last wipe would be the last wipe i would have made it last longer. You were always so soft; you never hurt my butt and always brought it comfort. You were always so sturdy; you never rolled up leaving bits behind. I took you for granted and now I cant find you anywhere or in any stores. Now I've been forced to downgrade to charmin ultra. I miss you and once you come back to me you're going to get the TOP shelf of the bathroom closet because that's what you deserve.

Only TP by use
So I know, it seems strange to pay this kind of money for toilet paper. But it is the best deal I found on the smaller rolls! Our bathroom was remodeled 25 years ago, and the toilet roll holder goes into the wall but not deeply. Back then there was no such thing as these great big giant rolls that are 3 to 8 times larger than normal toilet rolls. Our new bathroom. I can use the big rolls in but in my older bathroom I cannot. So I appreciate the fact that Cottonelle still makes the smaller roll and I appreciate that they can be found on Amazon! I have yet to find them in any stores any longer. Walgreens used to carry them and one of our local homegrown grocers did too, but not anymore! we may have to revert to using the bigger rolls in the new bathroom and when they get smaller, save them for the older bathroom.
