I've owned similar products from other US manufacturers, such as Izod and am a fan of the concept. I was hoping these would be good enough for my son, who needed something packable for his backpack.The pack upon arrival looks good and seems to promise the impossible: a great mac in a surprisingly small pack. Alas, it's too good to be true.Compared with my Izods, this has multiple flaws. Firstly, the material is almost ridiculously thin, meaning that when worn, the impression is that it is made of very thin bin-liner material. That was enough to kill it for my son, but also this was impractically small. My son takes size M in everything, but this definitely came up small, especially considering that most people will want to wear this over normal clothes, which he found impossible. It seems in the quest for getting an ultra small packable size, they forgot they were making a jacket that people will be seen in.That said, the refund request was honoured. So if you are in the market for something like this, don't make this your only option - shop around. And make sure you get a size up if you do get this.

Bought this as a lightweight wind/waterproof jacket. With the currant rainy weather, it works like a dream and kept me dry over a very wet 2 day stint trip to the I.O.W. recently. I am a size 12 and this was perfect. I could have taken the small but am glad in hindsight that I didn’t since I was able to wear this over a leather jacket one night (it was that cold for June!!!) without it being too tight. Worn on its own, still looks good. Practical, fits easily into a bag, very lightweight, inside and zipped outside pockets, hood with drawstrings,good price and it works!!!! Highly recommend.

Bought Mac in a sac before - ages ago and had problems with a zipper (bottom part became loose making it harder and harder to zip it up). Fast forward I got caught yet again by nice design and ability to pack it in a bag... This time after 4 days of wearing both pockets went. Literally zippers not even broke off they simply desintegrated and came off loose. Not worth spending money.

Anyone who is interested in this item should double check the size guide on official website. I also have a "classic 2" and by comparison I can tell the new "Origin" has a much slimmer style. For example, 115 cm chest, or 45 inch, is actually size SMALL !!! So be very careful before you place the order. As to the product itself I have no complaint at all. I just tried it on and it feels very comfortable to wear.

I bought the XXL and it fits perfect as I wanted it a little larger to fit over my micro down jacket.Edited:Just to say that all the seal seal lining came off all the inside of the jacket during its first wash, It's a pity that this has happened because this jacket kept really dry during a recent downpour. I'm still leaving the 5 stars as I believe it could have been an error on my part while washing the jacket and not the manufacturer.

Good. Fits well 6 ft 3 man. Hang it permanently in the downstairs shower and throw in for running to the shops. Packs away well when required.Arms are long enough for me which is my usual problem so happy there.

I ordered this prior to going on holiday to Florida in rainy season, so I was definitely needing a mac that will keep me dry enough to stay outside in the tropical storms the state is known to have. When it arrived, I was expecting a nice rosy, light pink mac that I'd be happy to wear on a daily basis on holiday - I was wrong! I was sent a pink camoflauge mac that was ghastly and I would never think of wearing. It may have kept me dry but I wasn't happy and comfortable in the colour.

If you want this for the upcoming winter buy large and then you can customise your undergarments. If it's for summer go for your conventional size. It will fit in handbag, messenger back or the like. For the price it provides value for money and enables you to do exactly what I have described. 6 stars!
