A beautiful story wonderfully written!
I am not much of a history novel fan, but this book, being a love story of sorts, made me want to try it. What I truly appreciate about this novel, besides it being a well-crafted story, is the historical accuracy of post-war countries and the circumstances of that time.

Rich characters
As a reader, I found "Saving Krakow" to be a gripping tale based on a true story. It follows a Soviet NKVD agent sent to Krakow, Poland, to save the medieval city from destruction as the Soviet Red Army raced to Berlin, and the Germans planned to destroy everything in their wake. The blend of historical events and personal heroism makes it a compelling read.
