Easy to Use
The flexible material makes it easy to remove the finished sphere. Don't overfill it or it will squirt out when you put the top on.

Great addition to your cocktail kit
These make great round ice cubes for cocktails. They're identical to those made by a lot of brands, but the price point here is quite good. They're not the highest quality, but (having had a few sets) I can tell you how to get the most bang out of the buck for these. (And answer some of the criticisms in other reviews.)First, you don't fill these through the hole in the top. (I almost marked these down a star for not coming with instructions--I can see how someone would make that mistake.) Fill it up to the horizontal line in the base. Water expands as it freezes, giving you a whole cube.)Second, yes, these will give you a "seam," especially when you first use them. However, it's easily handled: run the sphere under COLD water for about 5-10 seconds. The seam melts off first and, as an added bonus, the sphere looks clearer in the glass. The fellow who complained about them not being stackable is, sadly, fairly right. They do stack, but it's not very stable. I've never met one of these that actually stacked, though. But all told, these are great. You could pay more and get better, but at this price point they're very usable ($6.49 right now), and the faults are easy to deal with.

They work
Pros:- Easy to use- Cost-effectiveCons:- Plastic mold lines are sharp- Not stackable (despite being advertised)Verdict:They make ice spheres as advertised, but it's obvious that corners were cut. For the price however, it is understandable. My only real gripe is that they were advertised as "stackable" but the bottoms don't fit into the tops like cups. They're no more stackable than two rings of the same size are.

Perfect Spheres everytime
These molds make perfect ice spheres every time. I have several different sphere ice molds for bourbon, and have found most of them to be the same in their functionality. While some molds have heavy defined center lines, I found that these molds delivery less of a seam than my other molds. Filling the molds are easy, and mold separation is simple after freeze. The pink mold does seem the separation during the freezing expansion process, but so far it has not impacted the quality of sphere produced. For making bulk spheres at home I prefer using a much larger tray system, but these individual molds are great for taking to a freinds house or using while traveling.

How do you expect me to fill these balls without fine tip funnel
They sent me a 3 molds but nothing to fill them with. These tiny tipped funnels are not something that you can walk into a walmart or dollar store and buy. I tried filling them by submersing them but the left over water in crevices made a big mess when they froze. I ended up with useless pieces of plastic, which are going to the trash bin.

Easy to fill and remove
I have tried a number of ice molds and styles because we have very high heat where I live and hydration is important. These molds are simple and quick to fill and even easier to remove. Fits really well into a 'Stanley style' tumbler or really any drinking vessel. I go between a steel tankard and an off brand tumbler. Some of the molds can be a pain to empty or a pain to fill but this style works really well. Some of the ice is a bit misshapen or cracked by the end but that isn't a huge deal, it still functions really well as round ice. Stays alive longer even in an open cup because of the shape and keeps drinks cold longer.

Good ice ball mould
So the package has 3 individual molds in there. They are a silicone and plastic combo. The size of the spheres is about 2 inches. It’s easy to fill just make sure you are ready to spill as the extra does go everywhere. Just put them in the freezer and expansion goes out the top vent. Expansion did push the top up a bit so I had lopsided spheres. Just figuring out how much to put in there will fix this

Super easy to fill. Super easy to empty. Really good.
These ice ball molds are incredibly easy to fill and to empty. To fill the molds, just fill the bottom section to the top and, holding the bottom section level, put the top on. That will force the water to fill the round interior. You do not need a funnel or any other device. It works just like that. It’s also very easy to get the ice ball out of the mold by pressing on the two tabs on either side of the top.You do need to place the molds in the freezer upright so they don’t leak before they freeze. The ice balls are quite large and last a very long time.I can definitely recommend these. They are replacing all my old ice ball molds.
