Good craftmanship
Every office should have one of these, why, I'll tell you. My husband sits on his desk from 8 in the morning till late at night. I've told him time and time again to take breaks and carry out some eye exercises and even walk away from the desk but it's never happened. But now he's got this wonderfully crafted sandglass timer. It's only 15 minutes, but if he simply targets himself to ensure he takes at least on break every hour, it's a step in the right direction. The top, or bottom, which ever side it's standing on is wooden, nicely polished and varnished and has 4 metal rods that keep it all together.I would not have thought it was glass due to the touch and feel, but it really is and very clean at that too.Looks kind of cute on the desk, different to what you would normally have and adds a bit of an expensive luxury look too.Only one point I would like to raise is that when mine arrived, the bolts were loose all around and needed to be nipped up. Might have loosened up from the knocks and bumps whilst being sent.

Cute novelty sand timer. Slightly inaccurate timing.
These is a cute little hour lass. I actually like the dinky size as it's not too small or too large. The pink sand glimmers subtly and is attractive. I like the dark wood too - it's attractive. It feels durable if you take care not to knock it about too much. Mine is supposed to be 15 mins but is actually 15mins 40 seconds. I dont mind because I do not need accuracy. However, I find this to be way overpriced at £13.80 at time of review since it's nothing special.
