The media could not be loaded. I have been installing LED lighting in my house for at least the last 10 years or so. I have used pretty much all types, and all levels of quality of strip, controlling devices, technology and brands. This is one that I have been the most pleasantly surprised about when it came to its quality of function combined with value for money. When I'm looking for materials from Amazon, the first thing I do is look at the reviews which, let's face it, are mostly pretty useless when they describe the item by how quickly it was delivered or how nicely packaged it was. So, in short, if you're looking to install good quality, value for money and effective results from LED lighting, this particular item will give you those results. It is self-contained, very easy to install, and once you have downloaded the app you can pretty much do what you want with it. My favourite feature is, as you can see from the video, using the lighting to accompany music. It really is quite spectacular.Recommended.

I ordered this to go behind my headboard as I wanted something to act as an ambient light in the bedroom.I wasn't sure if it would look tacky but in real life it looks pretty good and I'm very happy with it.My only issue is when I try to change the speed or brightness of a mode, it changes to a static colour. It doesn't seem to slow down the speed of the mode selected nor speed it up. It's almost like it changes to a static mode on those buttons.I was hoping for a locked in variation of different colours and the closest I could get was within the modes. The colouring I wanted was too fast so I wanted to slow it down but it then just went back to normal colouring.Apart from that I'm quite happy and love it on the low blue florescent look in the evening.

My son asked me to make him a floating bed, so the lights finish it off nicely.Seems reasonable quality and is easy to install, great selection of settings and programmable to pretty much any combination or movement via the app.The only problem I have is that now my daughter wants the same.

This has to be one of the best LED strip lights Iv found, the lighting effects are stunning so bring and colourful it's mesmerising to watch.The LED cob light come in a small retail box in there is the 3m LED light strip, 24v PSU remote controller and the user manual. The light can be controlled either by buttons at the end of the light strip, the remote controller or by using the smart life app from the play store. Iv found using the remote controller is the best option for me that gives me plenty of light modes including music mode that looks amazing.At first I thought the price was a little high but after seeing and using the light it's worth every penny. And a added bonus is that it's fully compatible with Alexa and Google for hands free voice control over the light. Highly recommended light strip.

I took a long time to get to the point where I could review this item as I had to do some investigation into the wiring before I could offer a conclusion.I will start with the red flag issue - On the light strip, where the power connects to the strip, there are two cables, red and white that are left trailing from the plastic connector. Having looked at other reviews, I can see that this isn't just a one off that has happened with the set that was sent to me. This red and white cable are connected to the positive and negative of the power supply and are live when connected.While the shock that you can get from this isn't life threatening, the potential for fires is there should these cables connect with each other and any thermal cutoff that the transformer may have is put to the test.I cannot understand why this cable has been left in this condition, it should at LEAST be covered / terminated appropriately using non-conductive tape, glue etc.. at best they should be removed at the point of manufacture.As a result, I can't recommend these light fittings unless the cables are appropriately terminated and I hope the manufacturer is reading this.If you have bought these and are reading this, you should either stop using these lights, or, at minimum, apply some electrical tape covering the ends of the white and red cables to further minimise any chance of issues in the future.This issue aside, the light given by the cables is very good and the RGBIC nature of them means there's a lot of customisation available.Please fix the trailing / unterminated cables!

I already use the Smart Life App for other bulbs, sockets, and cameras.With Wi-Fi and Bluetooth switched on my mobile, I opened the Smart Life App and it detected a Wi-Fi strip lights, then I tapped on “go to add” and it then asks for the router password, it then adds the lights. The lights can be renamed and added to a named room. The LED strip light can now be controlled for brightness and colour with the Smart Life App, if the Amazon Alexa App is installed and the Smart Life skills enabled the lights are then added automatically. My son voice controls the light strip via his Echo Dot, and sometimes using the supplied remote control.Overall, I personally can’t fault this set of LED strips light. They are easy to set-up and operate, and look really nice.I hope you found this review helpful
